If we vote for Brexit what happens

But that'd have resulted in leaving the EU anyway.
Remain's view was pretty solid; we're doing great with the EU, lets keep it that way. They made plenty of valid points, but we're met with a new political wave where people are "sick of listening to experts". That level of willful ignorance is hard to campaign against.
Your point in bold is a matter of perspective.
The vote could not have been clearer. Where you voted determined how true you thought this was.
There is no point in a Londoner looking down their thriving high street and assuming that this must be true all over the UK. It's pretty clear that views of how we are doing are dramatically different.
I argued before the vote on here that it would come down to local perspectives, and I have not changed my mind.0 -
Inflation predicted to hit 4%: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-37838087
'households are about to endure a renewed period of falling living standards due to soaring inflation.
Fuel, food and technology prices already are rising in response to the weaker pound, and hefty price rises will be seen across the whole spectrum of consumer goods next year.'
Just like how the prices of everything from wine, to tea, to marmite, to apple products (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-37799235) are all going to be hiked.

There are clearly a lot of angry voters out there in the UK, which will of course include those who "don't like foreigners".
Smart politicians recognise the public mood and build it into their campaign.
It was your beloved Labour party which failed the Remain campaign. They have lost touch with their Northern heartlands to such an extent, they don't even know what the concerns of people up there are any more.
They had plenty of warning with the rise of UKIP during the GE.
All Team Remain had to do was come with a reasonable work-based refinement to freedom of movement, and it would have deflated Team Leave's balloon.
But they didn't. Poor old Cameron was shafted on one side by Labour and the other by Juncker and his mates. You need to look at why you failed mate.
63% of Labour voters voted Remain. As opposed to less than half of Tory voters who were only too willing to shaft "poor old Cameron" - their own PM and party leader.
If you want to blame someone for Brexit then there is one very obvious target.
Boomers.
Tory / UKIP voting, boomers.0 -

I think you need to either invent an anti-ageing drug, or campaign for a party which dumps democracy.
Old people are living longer Toastie.
It sounds like you are stuffed mate.0 -

So I'm dealing with an Eastern European Woman, been here 6 years, buying her first home now for £330k, no complaints, no anger, no jealousy.
She's full of optimism and already planning a buy to let after this.
She will one day be described as a boomer.
If she can do it............0 -

We could not go on wracking up debt and tossing money out of the country on imports, do you understand this?
Do you understand that was not sustainable, that the Germans thought our growth 'illusory' as it was based on debt and importing, rather than production in return for HARD CURRENCY?
Far too many of our workers have a bad lot due to this unproductive shopping economy.0 -
remember benefits street ? there was a big up roar to get people back to work and thats not going to happen with uncontrolled EU immigration.0

I find the irony of someone who purports to be some kind of buy to let mortgage seller writing this almost too funny.0 -
You see...this is exactly what I mean! People made their minds up on such sensationalist, puerile tv! We all know it's been a huge mistake based on short sighted prejudice.
Righteous indignation is 5% righteous and 95% indignation. People like prosaver watch things like Benefits Street in order to feel superior to others.
I saw one of them, it was so staged managed the participants were practically reading from autocues.
I am pitching my own docusoap to Channel 4. Its called "Smug Right Wing Pr1ck Street."
I thought the MSM might like an alternative to the endless tide of foreigner, poor people, liberal bashing they are enjoying.0
