I assume this means that the sale of Danish products in the U.K. Has fallen due to price increase. I wonder what is replacing these lost sales/purchases?
Does any one know what these Danish products are.?
Actually some info here from 2012

My presumption is that you've read this idea somewhere and have latched onto it, thinking that it's clever. Realistically, however, it is complete and utter nonsense that I doubt that many Brexiteers believe in. Indeed, I'm not even sure that you believe in it.
which bit do you think is wrong?
you genuinely think that the remainers DO NOT believe in free movement of people within the white, christian european EU club
and /or they believe in unlimited immigration from the rest of the world.
I don't think you believe that nor do I think you are clever but simply an apologist for the unacceptable behavour of the EU0 -

do you ever have anything to say of consequence ?
but I guess the intrinsic racism of your position makes you embarrassed to express it openly0 -

The EU is based in Europe. That's the club that we joined in the 70s. Geographically it doesn't include Africa. it is therefore predominantly white but to claim that it's a 'white mans club' on racist lines is beyond ridiculous.0 -

the countries of north africa, turkey and the middle east are geographically nearer Greece, Romanian, Cyrpus, Spain Italy than the countries of Norway Finland etc.
To pretend that these countries aren't being keep out on racial grounds is beyond stupid.
Lets think about the outraged panic amounst the 'remainers' on this board when it was suggested that Turkey would join: horror shock and then celebration that the remainers knew that racist East Europe countrie would veto it. OPen naked unmissible racism ... presumably you missed it though.
In any event that doesn't stop the EU trade equally with all the world irrespective of race but it chooses to do exactly the opposite.0 -

A Danish company like Velux has a healthy export market and sells a lot to the UK.
But...it was facing new entrant competition even before the Brexit vote, some of it based here.
Where there are marginal pricing differences the devalued pound could make a difference.0 -

Edit. Also the journalist who wrote that article is British and was born here.
...
There are clearly a lot of angry voters out there in the UK, which will of course include those who "don't like foreigners".
Smart politicians recognise the public mood and build it into their campaign.
It was your beloved Labour party which failed the Remain campaign. They have lost touch with their Northern heartlands to such an extent, they don't even know what the concerns of people up there are any more.
They had plenty of warning with the rise of UKIP during the GE.
All Team Remain had to do was come with a reasonable work-based refinement to freedom of movement, and it would have deflated Team Leave's balloon.
But they didn't. Poor old Cameron was shafted on one side by Labour and the other by Juncker and his mates. You need to look at why you failed mate.0 -

Note last weeks reporting of Swedens UK exports collapsing and thier finance minister calling for a smooth and amicable Brexit so no further harm is done to thier trade
De marks exports include things like butter and pork, both of which we can supply in good Quanity ourselves. This is what rebalancing the economy is all about, away from importing and more to exporting.
One day your kids will know this to be totally natural and logical and would fear us going back to the way it was0 -

But we're actively working with Turkey to help them join, so you're is already invalid. This was actually part of the Leave campaign.
The EU wasn't founded to keep foreigners out, it was to make inter-country trade easier for the nearest partners. Most of us aren't looking at this in terms of Black/white, because it's not relevant. Any non-white person who gains EU citizenship is equally welcome across the board, and there are no real barriers to them doing so if they wish.
The reason we don't have more African countries in the EU is has nothing to do with skin colour, but more to do with logistics and EU entry criteria which has nothing to do with race.
You really couldn't pick a worse straw man, and it really doesn't make you sound like the caring liberal intelligentsia you're aiming for, especially since you've stated your reason for wanting to leave is because foreigners are in your view crippling the economy.0 -
All Team Remain had to do was come with a reasonable work-based refinement to freedom of movement, and it would have deflated Team Leave's balloon.
But that'd have resulted in leaving the EU anyway.
Remain's view was pretty solid; we're doing great with the EU, lets keep it that way. They made plenty of valid points, but we're met with a new political wave where people are "sick of listening to experts". That level of willful ignorance is hard to campaign against.0
