A refugee will have as much/as little right to come to the UK after brexit as they have now.
Oh yes, I know: "They're all gonna get German passports and come our way!!"
Well what are you going to do post brexit? Refuse entry to all German passport holders....or just the brown ones? :rotfl:
The utter idiocy of the europhobes is staggering.

strange I though it was the europhiles that claimed the UK would be flooded with asylum seekers if we leave adn don't have the protection of france and the EU.

nice to see something we both agree about : no asylum seekers problem after brexit for the UK.

Question - EXACTLY what will happen if we stay in the EU with regard to the migration crisis over the next 5 years.
Answer - EXACTLY the same that has happened over the last 5 years.

This is the problem , the EU is not a nation. Put in it's simple form it was born as a trade organisation and expanded to the superpower it is today.

Please do not feel the need to simplify things on my account. It does not matter what its history was, it has rules that determine the terms of trade that non-members have with it, just the same as any nation does.
The issue we have is this, how can a super power dictate to every country under that umbrella? It's absurd.

It does not dictate it sets the rules that apply within its boundaries. They are only obliged to follow them if we want to sell to it.
At the end of the day, by us leaving we can trade with the world. Trade will not stop

    I have never said otherwise.
! We open our horizons rather than close ourselves to one 'superpowers' ideology. After we left we can control our own issues socially and economically...

We can I agree, the question is whether this is good for us or not. I get the impression that you want complete independence and not membership of the EEA? Is so fine but many of your fellow Exiteers expect to be in a similar position to Norway in the EEA.
I mean since when is sending a child benefit abroad a right?

It is not and I never said it was.
We can cap the crazy high immigration that has changed areas beyond recognition and increased house prices beyond belief halting chances for young people like me to get on the ladder.

We can do that for non-EU residents now. Cameron has not bothered to do it.

If as many want we leave and become part of the EEA we will still not be able to control EEA freedom of movement. Unless of course you do want complete independence. Then what do we do about the shortages of nurses etc?
I've seen fist hand the benefits and cons of immigration, straight up for my children and our people I honestly believe us being governed by ourselves is not such a huge issue.

It is a valid view but I think we will be poorer as a nation if we try to pretend that we can have full independence from all of our main trading partners. I think you have no idea how much independence will cost or the full impact it will have.. It is not just about immigration and benefits.
Who really benefits from us being in the EU? the Europeans of course.

Well there are a few million jobs and oodles of foreign investments.
Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.

Don't be obtuse. I said a refugee will have as much/as little right to come to the UK after brexit as they have now.

The difference will be where the camps will form.
Don't blame me, I voted Remain.

Yes. The ECJ has indeed made a ruling about this. It's called gender equality. :rotfl:

Look, all this economics talk is interesting but let's get to the matter that really counts to Brits. Who will build their loft extensions if all the Eastern Europeans are kicked out? So, we'll vote to remain, dead cert.

I agree, differential insurance premiums on the basis of age, gender, driving record etc are just discrimination. Everyone should pay the same.

The point I am trying to make and it's something I am deeply interested in, is what will happen when/if Brexit to our Immigration rules. You and I are entitled to our opinion but what I want is someone like Boris to explain what rules (if any) he would put in place after Brexit. Frankly I consider his spoken opinion about immigration MORE important than yours or mine.
There will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.
