Afraid it has been bumped off by a deceased pop star.

Not just a pop star, a giant of a pop star.

A simple answer ££££££ especially if most people just pay up, and apart from a little bit of fuss on watchdog/inside out, which soon blows over and disappears from the general populations memory the PPCs just keep on going.
If the DVLA removes database access juts issue more paper tickets, why even bother with an ATA ( even the IPC) when you can rely on a steady income from paper tickets -

"parking charge £130/£125/£80/£60, reduced to £85/£60/£50/£40/£35 for early payment please arrange payment by calling 07xxxxxx or writing with the drivers/your full name and address.
To appeal the parking charge, please e-mail scumbagparking@scamsareus.com supplying your full name, address, and date of birth as well as your appeal, alternatively you can phone, or write to us the drivers full name and address are required to appeal."

I somewhat agree and that people will just pay. But, a complete ban from the DVLA will hurt them BADLY.

And if the only avenue/revenue for them is paper tickets, to help protect our fellows humans from a scam, it would be our responsibility to tell the retailers, the supermarkets what would then be known as a "car park scam" right under their noses.

Getting them kicked out of car parks would be the next step.

Littering people's cars would not go down well with no authotity

well in the case of ANPR it took time , yes after their ban they were still ticketing and still are!

however , retailer after retailer have been informed that they are not accredited and have no teeth , and they are slowly disappearing , HOWEVER at least 2 new companies have appeared after he has been "philanthropic" enough to fund them.

in the case of UKPC , yes they would loose money with a ban , HOWEVER with the infrastructure they have a "new" owner would appear overnight ,

so expect a total ban to equate to about 3 mths before UKPC(2) appear , whilst retaining all UKPC staff

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

We will have to wait and see, Rupert Williams of UKPC has a history of companies but, once a new company is set up, it will be seen immediately. Williams really has nowhere to go but pack his wife Samantha into his Aston Martin and drive down to spain and lose himself
