Been selling mine every year, for the past few years on Shpock or Facebook. I always get at least £40. Ofcourse you could use ebay, if you're ok with paying the fee's & postage.0

Vue cinema ticket vouchers can now be used to upgrade to VIP seatsImportant changes to your cinema tickets
You can now use your cinema ticket vouchers to upgrade to VIP seats for an enhanced viewing experience at no extra charge – even more reason to get to the cinema soon.
Your available cinema ticket voucher codes are included below – it's easy to book, just copy and paste the codes when you choose your seats to book online, or print out this email and take it to your nearest Vue cinema. Some house rules:
You can redeem your cinema vouchers online. You will need to select either a Standard or VIP seat at your chosen screening. Enter the 16-digit voucher code at point of booking under 'Enter code'. Please note, if you are booking more than one ticket you will need to enter a separate voucher code for each one.
Cinema vouchers can also be redeemed at the box office, you will need to advise the staff of your seat preference e.g. Standard or VIP and present your vouchers to be scanned. Alternatively, if you received your vouchers by e-mail you can open them in your smartphone and present them to the box office staff who will scan your vouchers.
You can also upgrade your cinema ticket vouchers at the cinema for 3D or other non-standard screenings at an extra cost.
You can’t use cinema ticket vouchers to reserve an admission ticket by telephone and they can’t be used after expiry. Each cinema ticket voucher can only be used once.Free thinker.:cool:0 -
Never been brave enough to give this a go. Always worried that it would not end up accepting the code and then somehow the code would be messed up, so you would end up losing one of your voucher codes.
It looks pretty easy, and now that VIP is included it may be worth the effort.
So... if 2 of us are going, I click the 'Enter promo code' and enter the voucher code, and then enter a 2nd voucher code. So I imagine the price drops almost to zero at that point, but you still need credit card details in order to pay for the 75p booking charge?
Embarrassed to be asking these questions in this day and age.:o0 -
I'd used 2 of my vouchers so far this year, and the email reminds me of my remaining 4 codes and that I can upgrade to those expensive seats :money:
A nice bonus, and with this account paying 1.5% interest I can ... oh ... err ... hang on ... :eek:Retired 1st July 2021.
This is not investment advice.
Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."0 -

The 1.5% interest can be used to pay the booking fee for booking your tickets online (if we even have to pay the booking fee?).0 -
I like the idea of the vip seats now be included. However what concerns me is whether the local Vue is aware of this change and with the ones I currently hold there is no mention of the vip seat being free.
I remember having a heated argument with a Vue employee who was adamant I could not upgrade to 3d when presenting one of the vouchers for payment. I even read her the terms and conditions on the reverse side and she insisted they were incorrect.
In the end I complained to their head office and got £40 compensation but honestly who wants the hassle for an afternoon/evening out.0 -

I pre-booked my tickets online. I'll check if I can do the upgrade online too next time I go.

Well, I just rang my local Vue Cinema, and they are completely unaware of the free VIP upgrade - online or at the cinema. Thought it sounded too good to be true.:(0 -

Did that mean you didn't have to give credit/debit card details etc because the tickets were free?0
