Or by nearest cinema supplier, do they just mean they will pick between Cineworld and Vue?
You can ask them for either Cineworld or Vue.. They will send whichever is nearest to you unless you specify.0 -
There's no location on the cinema tickets.
Just says 'Vue' Cinema Voucher on mine with an expiry date.
Another suggestion is to gift them to someone.
I get 6 tickets and give my 3 sons 2 tickets each. It's a night out for them plus 1. I have no interest in going to the cinema but they all enjoy it, so passing on the benefit.
Unfortunately everyone I know doesn't live anywhere near a Vue or a Cineworld. I wish it was Odeon.
Or better yet, I wish they'd give Audible books or Amazon vouchers instead of the magazines.0 -
I realise this is an old post... but have a quick related question:
Me and OH have accounts and claim the cinema tickets every year. Thinking of cancelling the accounts next year as will no longer have Tesco DD's to service the account with. However, if I keep the accounts open until just after I have been given some more cinema vouchers, I take it the vouchers will still be valid? I mean, could they actually cancel the remaining vouchers after they have been issued?0 -

One Lifestyle Benefit is available for each 12 months that you have a Club Lloyds account and if leaving Club Lloyds the benefit may be cancelled at the sole discretion of Lloyds Bank.
I saw this already ....and no it doesn't answer my question, which was the reason for my post
So I have rung them up and asked the question. They replied that they make any remaining vouchers invalid, so you cannot use them. Any vouchers already used cannot be clawed back.
So the answer is: Yes, they are that proactive.0 -

You asked "could they..."
They say they "may..."
So the answer was always yes (they could).
Perhaps my original query was unclear. I was thinking more along the technical side ie. have they got total control over the serial numbers of the vouchers once they were issued? So, could they in so far as they are actually able to do this. I genuinely did not know, which was the reason I was asking in the first place.0 -
Seems pretty unlikely that they would go to so much effort though.
If you want to check before you get to the cinema, I think you can book online using the voucher number.0 -

I've just realised that I can keep servicing the Club Lloyds account with £1500 a month in and out again and that will waive the £3 fee. The only thing that I won't get with the account will be any interest (without the two direct debits). Will have to put the money in manually and take it out again, as there will be no buffer in the account due to lack of interest payment.
So just got to ask myself if it is worth keeping all this going with Lloyds for the sake of a few cinema tickets. I'm leaning towards no, but OH has other ideas.
Got 6 months to mull this over.0
