Don't see why you can blame DWP. Has nothing to do with them.0

The information is readily available online. If you have the ability to find out how much you can claim in benefits (for multiple children), then surely you are also capable of working out when they end - or is that when you plead ignorance?
no, it isn't.. the DWP admitted it isn't and they simply don't know and said to 'just apply for anything' and it will be looked at and changed if necessary
They also said if he has anything that could be classed as a disability claim ESA.. helpful!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

If you are claiming any benefits, isn't it worth reading up on them and finding out for yourself?
tax credits and child benefit are all we get and they are not relevant beyond 20 so the info is not with them obviously.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Which is not the same scenario as the one asked here.
he was doing a different course so it is the same and enrolled on this one in September

*All* you get? Are you implying it is a small amount?
I'm sorry, I don't get this pleading ignorance when you clearly know the system very well. Even if you didn't, if you Google "when does child benefit end" you get multiple results from CAB, the government website, and more - all giving the information you apparently cannot find.0 -

No it isn't the same. A child moving from one non advanced education to another is entitled continuously to 20.
A child moving from advanced education to non advanced education must have been accepted into the non advanced course before their 19th birthday. This is because you are having to reclaim for the child.

Good grief a friend ( over 30) is on ESA support group and gets less than that per week to support herself and pay her mortgage.
To be honest, unless the child is disabled you wouldn't get £200 per week for one child.
Child benefit is either £20.70 or £13.70 per week and tax credits is £64 or £54 depending on number of children.
So max £84 per week.0
