9 years ago I was married with a husband who was the manager of a successful building company.. things changed a bit.. like I said.. should I kill my 5 year old because we were ok then and now we're not?
I too will be a blob in a chair, just the same as everyone else.. what use will any of us be realistically? Or are you all cyborgs and will function effectively until the end of time? it's not at all disrespectful, I'm just not deluded or having unrealistic ideas of what the future holds for us all.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
but you wont be useful.. you will be a blob in a chair and all those people doing everything with be someones child, just like my children.. so while your husbands tax is paying every penny of tax credit paid out in the country (how the heck much does he earn!!) and you begrudge all those children from low income families every penny they get in your jealousy & bitterness.. it is that money enabling these children to be educated and be willing and able to look after you..
The 3 parents who created my children actually pay more in tax than we receive so your hubby is off the hook.
Jealous? Why would I be jealous of someone who admits they can't afford to feed their other children once an adult child's benefits are cut.
I have no idea what my future holds, but if I am a "blob in a chair" (how offensive can you be!) then it will be a chair I have paid for.

I thought that neither you nor your current partner were in employment?0 -

Sorry. Here is an updated post on your thread from 2010.
Then you were getting £3583 in benefits alone. As you have stated you have a few toddlers I am presuming this has gone up since then?

Lilelvis.. name calling is a sure sign you have nothing constructive to add.
us 3 parents pay more in tax than we get in.. that is all that you seem bothered about.. if they didn't take the tax they wouldn't have to give it back!
..and as tax credits and child benefit are available to everyone on a low income and as none of you even know how many children we claim for your bigoted ill-informed opinions are wholly inaccurate.. and the fact you begrudge millions of children all over the country the bread on their table speaks volumes about you as human beings! 5.2 MILLION children are in families whose incomes are so low they need tax credits.. it is disgusting there is a need.. if a decent wage was paid most could be out of that because many of those families are working..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

most got full fees paid and the bursary.. if they took the loan that was through choice I know a couple who didn't because their partners earned enough to not necessitate that.
And that is precisely how much the bursaries were.. I just decided I don't do dead enough to decide it was not what I wanted to do and did bio med instead and I had full fees paid and £16,000 bursary.
Nursing students did get their fees paid, so back in 2010 that was £3k a year (but not money in their hand), bursary £6k then if they took loans that was about £3 or maybe £4 k but of course that had to be repaid. Any extra was if they had kids or were disabled, I'm not sure if a nursing student would be severely disabled as it is a very physically and mentally demanding job so I don't think it would be a good career choice with many disabilities. Where does the £23k come from? Even now newly qualified nurses are starting on a lower salary than that.Sell £1500

There's a more up to date post from 2010 above. Not stalking. Just trying to establish how you can be so skint. And how much you are claiming that enables you to say to pay more in than you get out.Life is too short to waste a minute of it complaining about bad luck.
