The 1967 act says no such thing.

It is an act of contract law. It deals with damages. It creates no offences.

    Heres my reply from TCB

I believe that they are close to validation now but it may be a few more weeks.

I'm really sorry for the wait on this, it is unusual and we are pushing them to get this done as soon as possible,

29 weeks was up on 25th July for those who applied for this offer on 4th January (2016:))

As if that wasn't long enough its now another 7 weeks tomorrow that no one has got their cashback.

So 36 weeks and still nothing. What a great job everyone is doing at whoever is doing anything about this if anyone is:(

I will freely admit I haven't a clue but it says.

"Where a person has entered into a contract after a misrepresentation has been made to him, and—
(a)the misrepresentation has become a term of the contract;"

So I sore the offer, read the T&Cs and agreed to the. In so doing entered in to a contract with TcB. I then follow the terms to the letter and TcB decline the clime baste on something that is not in the T&Cs, that is misrepresentation.

All of the above may be complete hogwash, but in reality if you start to tell them this I am sure they will pay out just so you go away. At least quidco did when I went down that path with a MBNA card application that never moved beyond pending.
  • Can you tell us in more detail about the decline rather than "TcB decline the clime baste on something that is not in the T&Cs". What is that "something"?

Mine is still at the confirmed stage. I do know of someone that have been paid as they mentioned it on another thread. However up to them to say on here.

Have sumitted supported tickets or whatever they are called. Just get a reply that to wait and see
  • Mine is at the confirmed stage and my 29 weeks for the estimated payable should be this upcoming week. My cashback was only for £101 as I did the switch when it was at a lower rate, I hope it all works out because in my experience TCB aren't fantastic at chasing up support tickets, i've always found the support side of Quidco to be much better.

I can confirm that the £157 TCB for opening the co-op current account has gone into my bank. I messaged them quite a few times so don't give up. Initially TCB had lots of excuses why they wouldn't pay up one being I wasn't the person who opened up the account. I stuck exactly to the T&C given on 4th jan paying in £800 a month. I didn't have any direct debits nor did I switch any acounts with them. I am going to try the rewards now for my inconvenience.
  • My £157.50 became Payable today, at last:T:beer:
