  • My 29 weeks was up on 25th July 2016. Pending. Topcashback say...

"The Estimated Payable Speed is based on the average time taken for previous transactions to become Payable. It can take longer in some cases, as we need to wait until the merchant passes the cashback onto us. We apologise if yours is taking longer than expected, but please be assured that as soon as we receive this, it will be reflected in your account."

...so I will wait patiently a while longer

Submitted a support ticket last night to tcb and received a reply today. They agreed the wait is not good enough and are in communications with the co-op bank and hope to resolve the matter shortly.

    Heres my reply from TCB

I believe that they are close to validation now but it may be a few more weeks.

I'm really sorry for the wait on this, it is unusual and we are pushing them to get this done as soon as possible,
  • I think that the payment for January TCB won't be paid until the last week in August going by when the December's were paid on the 24th July. If ours will be included in that is another matter!

25th August is the earliest you can submit a 'payment not reached payable' and responses from TCB for other companies appear to be that some only pay once a month.

Ooooh does that mean I might get mine (from early April) in time for Christmas:rotfl:
  • So time to set up a couple of DDs with the co-op ready to transfer over to Halifax for another £100...

I wouldn't do that because you will miss out on the £4 a month reward plus the up to £1.50 for spending on your card each month!.

It's definitely an account worth keeping. Just open another current account and switch that to Halifax for the £100 then keep the account for the monthly £5 payment.

You really do wonder what they will be doing for a few more weeks!?

    Waiting for wood to season?
    For cheddar to mature?
    For ale to ferment?

Or a simple admin job that for reasons unknown to anyone, or certainly not us, can't be just got on with and done  after a mere 30+ weeks!

Really annoyed - just seen the co-op bank advert on tv promising £150 cashback for opening an account. Think they need to sort out the payments of existing customers first.

The advert isn't offering £150 cashback for opening an account!. It is a £150 reward payment for opening an account and switching too them which is paid directly into the account.

I opened an account on the 21st June, Switched on the 12th July and got the £150 on the 9th August so it is a much faster payment because you don't have to go through a third party Cashback site.
