Paying in say 3 DDs of £1 each and taking them out later with an SO is taking the p*ss
That's twice you've posted that in this thread. When you get round to reading your account T&Cs you'll find that you can't do that.

Keep in mind there is anecdotal evidence of them closing accounts if they think you are taking the p*ss.
Also keep in mind that the more publicity it's given the more chance of them pulling the facility altogether. Just a thought.

"Tesco Bank. 2 x "Internet Saver Account" and 2 x "Instant Access Savings Account" = 4 separate accounts on which you can set up 4 separate £1/month direct debits. And you get to keep the money."

Also, I just downloaded 'Tesco Bank Internet Saver Terms and Conditions', a 16 page .pdf file. Could not find any limitations to the number of DDs.
Could you pls give a page number?

    Thanks!

YB was not referring to the DDs, rather the SO's as it is not a current account

It has happened with Newcastle Big Horne Saver.
They used to allow people to pull money from a current AC but now they have canceled this facility

I would say advising someone not to abuse the system does more for preserving the offer than hurts.

The words "tesco saver" litter this forum, If Tesco don't know what is happening at their own bank, and rely on reading about it on MSE forums, then they really are in a mess.

No. Direct debits can only be set up with companies/organisations that have been authorised to use the direct debit system.
