I could only find 'Internet Saver Account' at Tesco site; not 'esaver account'
Being able to set up DDs in a bank account to pay money into another bank account (or anyone else) is something I have never heard of!
Request pay by DDs is made to credit crad companies, utilities, charities and the like; not to banks.
If I misunderstood what gocat meant, please explain. Cheers!
Ah yeah. that's the one, sorry.
Put it in search here on mse forums and you should find several threads about how to do DDs from Tesco accounts.

I googled "DDs from Tesco accounts" and found these threads at MSE:
    > Tesco savings accounts for DDs

The good thing about this direct debit from saving account especially The Tesco saving account is that "you are fuly in control", which include when you need to be paid, how much money you will need to pull, to remove the dd, etc...
It is also kind of 'automatic'. I opened a Tesco Bank Internet Saver this morning and setup a DD for £1 from a bank account. When I switch from this Bank account DD will be also get switched to the new bank.
I could also set up an SO to transfer the £1 to another bank. In which case, I never ever need to log into the Tesco account again. Cool!

Don't know what will happen if Tesco goes bust and ALDI takes over. LOL

I need to open 4 accounts, do I do the application 4 times or there is a faster way?
Internet Saver and Tesco Saver both allow DDs to pay in.
Not sure if they allow more than one DD each! Have a read at
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=5101346

For the 3rd and 4th DDs you have the option of giving small amounts to charities.
eg. Oxfam, RSPCA, Street-Child-Africa, Save The Children, Christian Aid and Water Aid accept £2 DDs
There may be others that you like!

Thanks Neil. So one can open two accounts each with
    Tesco Bank Internet Saver and
    Instant Access Savings Account.
    I stand corrected!

@ VeryMan. That link does tell you all you need to make a start.
    Good Luck!

At Tesco Bank I have three Internet Saver and one Instant Access savings accounts (useful for setting up direct debits), as well as two Current accounts (earning 3% interest).

Do they allow the one person to open the same type of account more than once?
Or does the accounts need to be in different names?
Also, with reference to one of your previous posts, do they allow several DDs into the same account?
eg. 3 DDs each into 3 different Internet Saver accounts, giving a total of 9 DDs.

I think you can have as many DD for the same account as you like, just give different nick names.

Keep in mind there is anecdotal evidence of them closing accounts if they think you are taking the p*ss.

    Thanks for the tip
Paying in say 3 DDs of £1 each and taking them out later with an SO is taking the p*ss :rotfl:
But hey! Banks are always taking the p*ss.
