That's better! Quick whizz round with a cloth and my spray bottle, and putting things away. Even smells nice in here. Rug could do with the sweeper on it but I'll do floors tomorrow.

I have 3 bin bags of goodies ready to be collected tomorrow by local charity shop that have been waiting in the garage patiently since before xmas :) hurrah, more leaving the house :T

That's me done for tonight, although I will wash those couple of cups before I go to Bedfordshire.

Evening ladies - just catching up on all the news and admiring the beautiful knitting. Very talented Mrs MP and Pigpen both!

Not much done today as I've had a day of builders questions, sand deliveries, foreman queries, surveyor phone calls, BT fault reporting, tea making, toddler entertaining and dog training.

Tomorrow the new WM and TD arrive. The mountain of stinky laundry will finally be addressed. My bathroom reeks. Boys and men are awfully smelly creatures  I've already sorted it into colours, lights/darks etc. so hoping it will just take the rest of the month to wash, dry, iron and put away.
  • Bossy I was with you, you just didnt know it.

Dizzy cant imagine living with my three menfolk without a washing machine. I agree they are smelly beasts.

    Feet up time.

  • Evening all!

What a day! According to my fitness tracker thing I've done 22739 steps today, which explains why I am knackered!

    Have:

    Done most of daily stuff
    Changed and washed bedding
    Long dog walk
    Put away shopping delivery
    27 fling boogie

I went to clean out all the carp from old car ready for mot tomorrow. It has been stood for about a month, and when I opened the door the interior was covered in mold! Turns out the back seat footwear was six inches deep in water from some unidentified leak. Yuck. That took some cleaning.

Me and OH also rescued a duck in distress that my friend and I found while walking dogs. It had got trapped under a cattle grid. We had to build it a ramp out of planks and coax it out with bird seed!

    Lovely knitting, both you knitters!

Bossy you are lucky not finding any passengers, I've been struggling with the little blighters for weeks.
Nit combing religiously over holidays, thought I'd cracked it, got about five each off the poor girls tonight.

    Yuck yuck yuck.

    Considering shaving their heads!
  • I've been really unwell with an awful bug for the past two days so not been able to do much more than lie in my bed so i've obviously not been flying.

Hoping to feel a lot better in tomorrow so I can play catch up since I'll be completely home alone, everyone's at work and the dog is at daycare giving me peace and quiet to get thing done :)
