Morning all. Tuesday very successful, or a pleasant write off depending on how you look at at!

Gym class. Yay. Upped my weights.

Tree and decorations down. Packed away. Trip to dump. Hoovered. Just to put sofa back now and the season of goodwill is officially over in this house for another year.:D

Sneaky trip to cinema. The new Star Wars is brilliant. Although there was a definite sense of dejavu. This turned into an early dinner at the Indian round the corner which we'd booked for last time when we went to Sceptre but didn't get to as we couldn't find it:rotfl:

It was delicious (and diet friendly), but meant cancelling 2 new gym classes I'd wanted to try. Came home - walked very put out hound, and played silly game until 1015. When I *went to bed*. Ignored alarm at 0600 and only got up when canine doorbell went of for the postman at 0900 (missing 2 more gym sessions in the process)

Oh well. Some quality time with the DH which we didn't really manage over Christmas.

Back to flying today, and some paid work. Then gym this evening:o Paid work tax return first, after walking dog.

    Have a great day everyone.:D

    Morning all.

Struggling to get moving today but the midnight bedtime probably didn't help. I must get to bed earlier tonight!

While I remembered I've grabbed holiday dates for ex from his schools website through until September 2017 as it makes planning for DD staying at his so much easier. I've also grabbed the dates for schools up in Cumbria so we know when relatives up there will be off work as well so trips for up there can be planned ;) It can get complicated trying to work out when all 4 schools involved are off as quite often half term in February, Easter and Christmas are different dates. Plus side is I have DD's through until September 2018 according to the council so I just need to add Inset days to that one :D Roll on May 2019 when I can drop one of the schools and she can be completely responsible for organising these things herself (as well as making her own way there and back so not relying on lifts all the time!) :rotfl:

I also have managed to sort out the newsletter for work with DD's help! She suggested I changed one word (also to and) then agreed I should delete 2 from another sentence and it suddenly makes much more sense :rotfl:I really try not to word things like a "hard sell" as I've tried it before and its not made a jot of difference to my sales so wording things can prove difficult! Now I just need to play with the layout & edit it onto the school newsletter. Then prep the books and get them out.

But before I do that I really really need to have a shower in the hopes it wakes me up. I've had 3 strong coffees, I even put sugar in the last 2, and I'm still sleepy. :o I'm hoping to start work by 11am :o:o
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Minniemousesmummy so sorry to hear that you got laid off, sending a hug

Lynnejk sorry you are feeling unwell lovely

Pigpen let's hope you're right about third time lucky! Had to smile when you said Dot's been terrorising nursery staff for a year; is she like her Mum?!!

Urchhh oh I remember the teething days so well - seems like only yesterday but my babies are 9 and 13 now! Just sleep as and when you can; it's good to try to do a few odds and ends around the house but you need to take care of yourself too.

AFB sorry your back's playing up again - can you go and see someone and get it sorted? Nothing worse than a bad back.

We were up early as had to take S to GP at 7.50  - he's being referred for some physio. My GP was running 25 minutes late and at 8.05 had phone call from Z to say she'd missed the bus and could I take her in! Of course I couldn't as still waiting so she ended up getting a later different bus in and got off in a different part of the village her school is in. Then of course she had a long walk to school (she didn't go the short cut I told her about because she wasn't sure where it was ) and eventually got in at 9.30 feeling very cold. I'm hoping now she's gone through all that she'll be quicker leaving the house - I found out she didn't leave here til 8.03 and her bus is 8.05 :wall: - it's over a 5 minutes walk.

That aside got to take Pip to vets at 11.30 for jabs but going via the CS to drop off some stuff. May well pick up a pasty for lunch too :). For now I'm going to get on with some cleaning. Catch you later x

Not at all, I was well behaved at nursery.. I just was non-compliant when they did dancing and singing.. I had confidence and image issues at 3.. I am pretty certain I have ADD tbh and I couldn't cope with being looked at or getting things wrong.. I was moved to school and did really well. My friend and I did often tell one girl to do things wrong because we didn't like her and we thought it was hilarious.. like getting her to drink paint when we were doing bubble paintings with straws.. I was a right teachers pet until I went to high school and the staff hated me because I am not catholic!

Thanks Mumof2, have our normal monthly chiropractor appt next week. My back is just not quite right at the mo having tweaked something a couple of weeks ago, is much, much better than it was so did a bit more yesterday and paid the price last night :( mainly need to rest, move, rest, move and not too much of either at a time! Suffered with back problems for years finally went to a Chiropractor a couple of years ago and now just have monthly maintenance adjustment don't generally have any problems with it.

Have put yesterday's washing away, dryer on again for today's load and sorted the bins. Kitchen bits sorted so coffee and resting now.

    Morning!

So far all I've done is clean the air fryer. Did fish fingers in it and when we got in last night I could smell it from the hallway *pinches nose in disgust*

I'm being productive at the paid stuff, but just having a diet c0ke break lol.

DS thumb was still painful this morning, but the bruise has settled and he can bend it. I had a little feel while we held hand on the way to school and he didn't notice / wince so I don't think it's broken :o

Was sort of nice to do the normal school run today. Both kiddies said "yaay" when I told them I was collecting them too. Hopefully before the end of this school year they will have me for all the school runs. They do like club, but it's no substitute for mummy is it? :D

So later on today I'm going to make some chicken noodle soup, two loads of laundry, see if DS has any more school trousers and I promised DD a princess picnic ;) she means in her bedroom with her toy tea set and disney dolls, but I might sneak some juice and tiny sandwiches upstairs before I go collect them :)

It's also bath and nitty night  not seen any crawlers but I'm still checking haha.

Oh I swept the kitchen floor as a box of breadsticks jumped out of the cupboard and you can imagine the rest :rotfl:
