  • Not too much done today but I did get out of the house which is an achievement for me at the moment.
    Got 2 loads through the wm and one lot of hand washing done. Checked the stairs and cleared the items from them, didn't vacuum will do that tomorrow. Have put the xmas decs away this eve. Need to get to bed, my body clock is all out as no work to keep me regulated.

    Another early start for me, have no idea what's up with my body clock again:(

    Monday:

    Clean out pan cupboard
    Clean out tupperware cupboard
    Make optitions appointment

    Wednesday:

    Check fire alarms
    Strip my bedding
    Dust my room
    Vacuum mattress
    Clear floordrobe
    Vacuum bedroom & landing
    Sort towel cupboard
    Clean window
    Clean top of wardrobe
    Declutter 10 items for challenge
    Get mince from freezer

    DSD2 is coming over this afternoon and staying for dinner. We haven't seen her since 19th as she works a lot, so will be giving out her christmas present today:)

    Will be minimal flying today as upset my back yesterday and could barely move last night so must rest today. Dusting and kitchen & bathroom basics only.

    Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining area
    Wash the units and appliances.
    Wipe over window sills and shine the taps
    Clean table and add a clean cloth if needed
    Dust and deweb

    Extras
    Binbag dance
    Thoroughly clean a small appliance

    Tuesday - Lovely Living Rooms and Safe Stairs
    Dust any areas below eye level
    Dust anything above eye level (if safe to do so
    Wipe the bits next to the steps on the stairs, yours might be skirting board, edging of some sort, grab a cloth and give it a wipe

    Extra Mission Tasks - as usual if you fancy tackling something else you could try one or more of these
    Clean windows in these areas, check curtains/nets/blinds while you are there, do they need a clean?
    Clean any ornaments, mirrors, clocks or other dust collecting collections
    Clean out the vacuum cleaner, empty the bag/bucket, clean filters if they are washable MAKE SURE YOU DON'T PUT THEM BACK UNTIL THEY ARE DRY!

    Wonderful Wednesdays - Master Bedroom & Landing
    Remove and wash bed linen.
    Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..
    Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing

    Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more
    Clean windows in these rooms
    Clean tops of wardrobes and drawers

    Thrilling Thursday - Study/PC area and Bathrooms
    Level One
    Clean floors in these rooms
    Level Two
    Clean baths, toilets and sinks
    Clear any clutter from desk
    Dust PC and desk
    Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
    Level Three
    Wash your bathroom mats
    Wipe down tiles in bathroom
    Delete 10 links in your favourites which you no longer use or don't work

    Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more
    Clear a hotspot, if it's bad at least spend 10 minutes on it
    Remove anything from window sills in these rooms, clean before replacing the items (which you have of course given a wipe)
    Clean toilet bowl inside and out, the floor in front of it aswell if you need to
    15 minutes paperwork filing/flinging. Deal with anything urgent now.
    Wipe skirting boards in these rooms
    Spend 15 minutes tackling a cupboard/storage area you have been avoiding dealing with.
    Have a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T

    Morning!

    Sorry I didn't post yesterday, but I had a productive day.

    Work most of the day but managed to:

    Do the banking
    DW
    Clear kitchen and clean hob
    Make dinner and clear everything away
    Take the Christmas tree and decs down
    1.5 hours ironing
    Pick up the areas I have been concentrating on so they stay good

    Let's hope I can keep it up today.

    - Check fire alarms are working
    - Mend bathroom cupboard door
    - 9.30 play at service
    - 10.30 meeting
    - Finish chapter of my book and make notes
    - Start writing Unit 1 of new course (most of it currently in my head)
    - 14.30 meeting
    - Carry on writing
    - 19.30 church party
    - Take down cards and decorations (except for one special piece which stays in place until Candlemass)

    All dressed and ready to go!

    OH has an appointment at 10ish so hoping to get a bit of stuff done then

    I have a couple of mountains of washing to address and a kitchen to find.
    Henry has a downstairs to suck again.. until I can do it all in one go I will not be happy.. and at the weekend the landing is in for it!

    My house is a bear pit and it is driving me crazy!

    Dot has been terrorising the nursery staff for 1 whole year today!

    Paper list written out to work from - I'm getting there.
    hugs good wishes posi vibes sticks and spoons for all who need them.
    Just working midday today.
    Need to update my work note book from scraps of paper found in my tabard pocket.
    Tonight tea planned and we have it all in so no shopping.
    Ds2 has found me a tshirt he pd like mending and a pair of school trouser
    On last ball of wool for blanket so would like to get that finished by tonight.
