  • Thanks Petula, I'm such a ditz.
    Reposted on the correct thread!
Well I got nothing done yesterday after work, non-stop visitors from 4 'til midnight.
I did a bit better today, WM on once, DW on twice, washing dried & put away, fridge cleared out and cleaned.
    Chin up, Titus out.

    - [STRIKE]zumba[/STRIKE] a bit of a riot from the zumba ladies today; got there for the first one since Christmas and the new timetable indicated it was only 45 mins. They do a lot of weight classes, high impact etc which seems to be the trend at the moment, but at the expense of a lot of the dance-type classes. Maybe we are dinosaurs, although I do go to the other classes, but our Tues one is the only zumba one left. We had a meeting with the manager - don't imagine anything will change

Also did one load of washing
Put one basket of dry washing away
    Emptied dishwasher.
Washed a load of pans. Gave the sink a good clean and soda while I was there.
Dismantled the 'Christmas cracker' flower arrangement and resisted the temptation to keep the 'cracker' part for next year, as the mice would be bound to get at it, or dust, or spiders.

Good evening, I am just dropping in to update my list before I head to bed, I didn't get much sleep last night due to the rain and strong winds so I'm feeling shattered.

Today has been a day of mixed emotions as I got laid off from my part time job, however looking at it positively it will give me more time to focus on getting my dream job and studying. I still have my other part time work so not going to be a major problem.

Tuesday was a write off, baby is teething badly and didn't sleep much last night so we both slept most of the day today. However we are now wide awake now and OH is asleep in the living room on the couch and the baby is in the bedroom with me. I might start tidying up this room now as I don't see her sleeping soon, she's just happy sitting on my bed playing with her toys now. My mums taking her tomorrow for a bit so I can get things done and go to the gym.
Big list but I'm aiming to get it done!

    Personal:

    • Buy more nappies for the baby and sort and stock up her 'changing boxes'
    • Premeasure babies powder so OH can't make a mess of my clean worktops
    • Tidy up unit in living room and sort paperwork. Its kind of a dumping ground for anything and everything. I noticed this was an issue when the 2 year old I had round today was pulling out things I didn't know where there!
    • Give the jumperoo a deep clean, its filthy. Babies eh? So bloody messy!
    • Kitchen floors needs desperately cleaned
    • Rest of rubbish taken out as managed to get most out today
    • Finally fix out my membership to the swimming pool as I don't need it and keep forgetting to send the paperwork off despite having it filled out for 3 months now! Its on the fridge but I still forget!
    • Take out food to defrost for Thursdays tea (spag bol)
    • Make sure OHs lunchbox is made night before as he keeps forgetting
    • Buy tortilla wraps for Saturdays tea so I don't need to do a mad dash on Saturday
    • Put all washing away and put another load on
    • Put dishwasher on
    • Make soup with the veggies that are looking a bit limp in the fridge
