Afternoon everyone. It's been on and off all day here weather wise. Bright sunshine now though.
Have cooked a pasta bake for Dh and kids tea as I'm out tonight with girls from work!
Put clean folded washing in recipients rooms and hung more wet up on airers.
Chucked bleach down all loos and did full on big clean of our ensuite. It gets so dusty!
Swimming lessons tonight for kids.
Oh and a charity bag got picked up outside by the nspcc man this morning! Fling!
Hope everyone is having a good day x0 -
Calling it a day as I'm my sciatica is playing up, it's cold and I'm fed up in general :rotfl: Still progress made and I'm ok with that. May do just a bit in the wardrobe and dig out some more warm tops, cold front headed this way so they say
nicki- I feel your neighbour pain, we are in very close proximity to ours on the left and they continually overfill with half full carrier bags (not tied) which the wind catches and EVERYthing is EVERYwhere  There is a long list of others who've complained about them and someone is supposed to be out to see them, we all live in hope

Hope its ok to join in posting again?
I stopped posting when OH decided he was leaving at the end of 2014 and I sort of lost my way. He is back home and its ok but I am not quite the same person I was- far more independent now.
I have been doing lots of organising and house looks quite nice and tidy and I want to keep it like this- just about to empty dw and have a cuppa then start on making tea.
I wish all of you a great 20160 -
Hi all
Bossy you must be so fed up with it. I had a crown on one of my back teeth a couple of years ago and I have this feeling that it is not going to last all that long.
Hi Katiecat and others.
I feel very unmotivated today. It doesnt seem to have got properly light here in days, I am sure its not good for you. Oh for some crisp days and winter sunshine!
DS1 is on his way home from his voluntary job, soaked to the skin. DS2 has played rugby in the rain. Like greenbee my washing just keeps multiplying.
Might light the fire and need to get tea started soon.0 -
Afternoon:)
List has been neglected today. Had my riding lesson this morning, was very tense the whole way through as worried about pulling a muscle again, so I expect to ache like hell tomorrow!
Have felt very tired the afternoon, probably due to being blown around the yard this morning. I volunteer for 1 1/2 hours before my lesson:)
Will try and catch up on list tomorrow and over the weekend.
Sausages and mash for dinner - perfect food for todays weather:)November NSD's - 70 -
Thanks for the dental support guys
I may yet leave it as a gap - it's a second molar so not very close to the front. He said an implant might be about £2k  but that might not be much more that a very well made bridge
I think it's less about having stuff done, but just making the decision if that makes sense. I have no-one to mull it over with and no experience of any of my options to see what the future might hold.
But I'm feeling a bit better now, so thanks xxx
This afternoon I sorted our floordrobe that was actually a bed-robe in the spare room. Everything put away and another wash done. I read somewhere about putting aspirin in the whites wash, lol, and tried it today - school polo shirts have brightened up a bit haha.
Also done my party nails for Saturday and decided what I'll wear. But I'd rather hibernate tbh
Just made snack tea for small people, and DS lunch for tomorrow- back out to football in an hour... Trying to keep kitchen under control as I go...Bossymoo

I've put out half my books including at school. Spoke to them about DD doing work experience there and she has to do it all officially via a letter etc. I came home, brought the wheelie bin around and it suddenly started getting very dark. I made a hot drink with the intention of warming up before I wrapped up to deliver the last lot of books and the heavens have opened with hailstones  According to the met office its 3degrees out but feels more like -1 and the wind is blowing like crazy. I have to get wrapped up and go..I do don't I
Glad I decided to make the hot drink or I would have been at the furthest point & soaked/frozen.
DD has come home from school with a sore shoulder & wrist. She slipped getting out the shower this morning and stopped herself falling by putting her hand on the wall fast. Been there and done that a few times myself so I doubt she's done any real damage. I'll see how it is tomorrow after school and if its no better I'll take her to the kids walk-in centre which has x-ray facilities and is right by her bus stop. So she's no use this evening with anything. The dog is on one he's either bouncing around barking wanting to be with DD or (as he is currently) laying in the most awkward place sleeping, but when he runs in his sleep its very cute :rotfl:
Tea tonight was going to be pizza with salad but its too cold. Think I'll do pasta with a tomato & cheese sauce instead. DD can keep an eye on it while I pop out. I best get moving as I'm feeling cold sat here.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Bossy - I have an implant which is due to get its crown in Feb. So let me know if you have any questions.
Making inroads into the laundry - I need it all done and out of the way before visitors arrive. And I'll have to iron some pillowcases as I have so many visitors this weekend I'm having to use ALL my pillows some of which needed their under pillowcases washing. Handwashing is still lurking, but I do need to get it done before I pack for my next work trip...
My brother is about to drop off a bench and some airbeds so I can fit everyone in. And I've ordered some additional bedding... I realised I didn't have enough for all these visitors (and at least one duvet cover is rotten). I've been meaning to get some more duvets and covers for a while and I'm happy with the deal I've got in the sale so hopefully I'll like what I've ordered. Fingers crossed the next day delivery actually comes next day, when I'm in (or they leave it in the porch) as it'll be annoying if I have to go and collect.
Sitting room has been put back together after removing the tree, and the last piece of underlay I had left put under the carpet by the window. It may or may not make a difference.
I just need to work out whether I can fit an airbed in the office. Probably not, but it would be good if I can because that way no one will need to go back to my brother's house for the night. Of course, it will also mean that I have to tidy the office...
At some point i have to sort out the food as well...0
