I am also loving the hair Pixtotts
I am the same in the mornings and log on before I get dressed and then notice its 10am and I have done nothing :rotfl:Except catch up with whats going on and drink about 4 cups of tea.So I am now getting showered and dressed by 9am :eek:at the latest. Its lasted 3 days so far so I am on a roll :rotfl:
The leggings kerri I loved the oil slick ones too.We must have the same taste in them. I picked up a lovely pair last year in a chazzer for £1.95 One half of them is Black and the other half is Orange and they have card suits on the legs On the black leg orange clubs spades and hearts and on the orange leg a massive black diamond and I love them.:rotfl:No maker on them as the label has been cut outI wish I knew who made them as they are also fab quality and so many people have asked where they are from. They are so different like the Tikiboo ones.
I am in town tommorow doing some bits and I am determined to walk past the shops and NOT go in. Wish me luck

Can I be included for this year too please?
I have had to think hard about my budget/rules for the year as I'm still trying to reach my target weight which will inevitably mean some new clothes will be required at some point.
However, in order to keep costs to a minimum I have been looking into capsule wardrobes so hopefully I will be able to style my existing clothes (that fit) a little better to avoid the usual boredom of wearing the same thing day in day out and have been participating in a winter style challenge on Facebook which has given me some inspiration.
I am also following the KonMari principles with regard to decluttering (I've already done clothes twice but still need to find the 'joy' in my wardrobe so will be starting again this week!!) I am also planning on turning round the hangers once I put everything away to see what I actually wear from the things I have kept :rotfl:
Anyway, my rules for 2016 are as follows:
* My budget will be £600 for the year which should give me £150 per seasonal capsule and is to include any purchases that I wear (jewellery, shoes, underwear).
* Any cash received as gifts/vouchers will be deducted from the budget figure.
* Sell anything that I don't wear anymore.
I don't actually need anything at the minute but I will more than likely have to purchase a few items for my holiday wardrobe as we are planning our first holiday abroad in nearly 5 years but will review nearer the time £10 a day challenge 2015: £772.72 * January 2016 £116.15/£310 * November 2016 £257.18/£300

Morning
I am not at work today and I will be going through my wardrobe (again) to put clothes in complete outfits. This should enable me to work out the not only do I not need anything, but also, that I still have too many clothes and need to get rid of some.
Notwithstanding the above, I put my only pair of jeans on earlier ( i sold around 15 pairs last year on eBay in my efforts to reduce the amount of stuff I have) and have decided that I don't like the colour - or the style so I think my main purchase this year will be a nice pair of jeans. Has anyone got any suggestions re decent brands?
I'm not in any hurry to get a new pair as I don't wear them that often.
Thanks for any advice lovelies

It's so lovely to read about this thread on OS....everyone's loving it!:j
Today I'm wearing a top that I'd forgotten I had, so thanks to my ' de-dressing' my wardrobe, I'm a happy bunny!:)
My budget is a staggering zero, which doesn't frighten me that much as long as I keep my feet out of the chazza shops! :rotfl:
Hopefully I wont give in. I shouldn't as I have an endless supply as back up in my spare wardrobe.
Good luck everyone with your goals:TLiving a frugal retirement without treading on the planet :T

Hi everyone
I've decided today to unsubscribe from any shop emails I get, and also to go through my Instagram feed and unsubscribe from the accounts that I find too tempting! I must be a marketeers dream, they only have to show me a picture of something new and off I trot to their website. Case in point - B0den tried to catch me today but I RESISTED!!Fashion on the Ration 2020 - 5/66 spent0 -
I'd like to join in this challenge please. I am going to go a stage further and make it a family thing. Me and DH will not be buying any clothes for the whole year . The only exceptions to this will be underwear/socks but only if really needed and exercise clothing/footwear. We are both runners and cyclists and do both outside all year round so our clothes and shoes get very well used. We both got new winter cycling tights recently and I got winter running tights so we should be set.
With regards to the children (12 year old girl and 10 year old boy) they will get what they need but nothing unnecessary, DS gets a lot of excellent quality clothes passed to him from a friend so we only tend to buy him footwear, underwear, pj's and the odd item of clothing. DD on the other hand is always wanting clothes, she has money of her own at the moment which she can spend but this year she will only get what she actually needs from me.
The only other thing which may change is my work situation. I currently work from home but am looking for a part time job, if I find a suitable one I will need to purchase a few items of clothing but it would probably only be some black trousers, a tailored skirt and a couple of cardigans.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

First confession of the year :- £5 on a John rocha top. Brand new with tags from bhf shop. Not really needed but just perfect and at that price I couldn't leave it. Only went in to drop some things off0

I have been buying my jeans from FAt Face for the last few years. I try and only buy them in the sales or by using vouchers from family. I get a 1/2 priced pair from my mum this Christmas.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Can I join this year too? Sounds like a brilliant idea. I honestly have no idea how much I spend on clothing in a year so I'll just give myself a few restrictions and keep track of where my money's going. Even saying £40 a month, which doesn't seem too much, comes out at nearly £500 over the whole year! I seem to have moved from buying lots of cheap clothing which I was constantly replacing to paying a bit more and having it last ages. Trouble is, since my work dress code is very casual most of my clothes are jeans and fleeces. I don't have anything in between "walking the dog & climbing mountains" and "dresses so smart you can wear them to a wedding" so I'm not quite ready to start shopping from my current wardrobe.
Here's my restrictions:- Absolutely no buying pyjamas or swimwear
- Only buy socks or pants if you throw the old ones with holes in away, and only then if you really are running low and not just haven't done the laundry in a while
- Only buy a new bra if I sell another one
- No plain t-shirts
- Only buy jeans if an old pair have to be thrown away
- No buying clothes I'll only wear on holiday
I was trying to come up with clothes I really "need" for this year and while I'd like a pair of black boots, a smart waterproof coat and another pair of walking trousers, I think they fall into the "nice to have" category. A couple of smart tops and jumpers would be extremely useful though. Every time I go out to a restaurant or party, I seem to end up wearing the same thing.
So far, I've spent £3.40 with the help of a gift card on leggings (which were necessary for my dance class this evening), thermal socks and a smart-ish jumper.Money made on etsy in April: £0
Money made on ebay in April: £00
