Hello all
Sofas are lovely I am so pleased with themYes dolly I do hunt down the bargains.I know what I am looking for and keep looking until I find it at a great price
Sometimes it takes ages to track down what you want but its so worth it.
welcome Lincsdebt What I would do is give yourself a very small budget like maybe £50/£100 for the rest of the year then somerandom will add you and your budget to the listWe have got another lady on here cant remember who sorry
Who is doing the same as you and has given herself a small budget and found it mentally :rotfl:easier.
Alice dont worry about people looking at your shoes if they do the job and you are happy to wear them who gives a hoot :DWhat anyone else thinks.
Still no clothes spending here still got to list a few things on the Bay including the LK Bennet shoesHavent had time yet as my Dad hasnt been well so been running around a bit.

Hi Lincsdebt - would you like me to add you?
I bought a calf length brown velvet Boden skirt yesterday for £1.50. Hoping it will soon be too warm to wear so will put it away until next winter.Shifting my energy for 20200 -
Thanks kerri gt, mavvymoo and dolly84. I really appreciate your kind words and encouragement. I really mean that!
I just realised I have spent over half my annual budget in just 2.5 months, well I actually did it in 1.5 months! And that was spending less than I would have ordinarily. Shameful!
I've got a day off tomorrow and one of my jobs is to take some things to the charity shop (yes apparently when he doesnt want to take something to his new place, its ok to just leave it at mine for me to dispose of....) but do you know what, I don't even want to go clothes shopping! Haven't had that feeling for a long time. I seem to have suddenly realised that I already HAVE nice things.
I'm just wishing he would take all his clothes so that I can have some more wardrobe space.. maybe I should sneak a few to the charity shop ha ha
I am going to have a little clearout of my stuff though, if something doesnt spark joy it is going to go. Too many things are suffocating arent they. I am looking forward to regaining some order and control.
Hope everyone has a nice dayFashion on the Ration 2020 - 5/66 spent0 -
Vintagegal, maybe you could suggest that you "help by clearing his stuff to the CS as he doesn't seem to want any of it?"
That kind offer prompted my ex-h to come & take his stuff over 2 months after he moved out

So, still not bought anything but think I will need to do so soon - work trousers, but I can't find any that I want as yet. Doesn't help that I am petite in height.
Do need some belts though - have an H&M voucher, will use that I think.
Have a good rest of the day all.

Was almost naughty again today and picked up 2 dresses in British Heart Foundation shop at lunchtime, but I put them back. Despite the weather beginning to improve, or get brighter at least, I'm still picking dark/winter colours. I did buy new shoes and a matching-ish clutch bag for the wedding, but what I really need is a good clear-out.SPCNo.18 #20 (17 £562.86 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)

Great idea! Or I might put some on eBay...
They dont want to clutter up their new places do they? But it's fine to clutter ours! He took 5 ties the other day but left about 20..Fashion on the Ration 2020 - 5/66 spent0 -
I would give him a deadline to remove it or lose it. The longer it is hanging around, the longer you are unable to create the home you want for you & your family, and I know from experience that you will all benefit when you are able to do that. It is unfair of him to expect you to provide free storage while he has moved out. That's what those big yellow places are for2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Good point. I'm going to condense it all into one place and tell him to get it or it goes to the CS.
I'm gearing up for the CS tomorrow though so he might be too late! Have been through my daughters wardrobe tonight and filled a bin bag. Have put in some things of mine that I don't really like as well. The clearing out is quite therapeutic!Fashion on the Ration 2020 - 5/66 spent0
