Thanks for keeping me on the straight and narrow Mavvymoo. A top would nearly swallow a third of my yearly budget, which is not something I want at this stage of the year.Mortgage Dec 2015 - £21545 Apr 2016 - £19930

Welcome Lala - I have added you. We have 40 members on this challenge now
I bought a top yesterday - Phase eight - brand new - £3.49 - nice shape & material - a good purchase for Spring. Tried it on when I got home and found it is rather low - cut so I need to see if there's anything I can do about that - if not - it might end up being re-donated (CS is too far to return it).
Update: Tried top on again - there's no coming back from this one - it's not just low-cut it's got a very, very odd neckline that is both wide and low and uneven. Going straight into the CS bag.Shifting my energy for 20200 -

Hello all. No further spending here so just the underwear I bought earlier in the year that I don't count in this challenge so I'm still £12.50 up due to a refund.
So glad I bought the underwear, the boring black and white stuff is now wearing out and I feel so glam knowing I've got nice matching stuff on underneath my clothes even if no one else can see.
My spends may go up though (and over budget) as DD has just got engaged. I don't know when the wedding will be yet, but I'll definitely need a new outfit for that.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Afternoon
I bought another pair of trainers yesterday to replace the ones I sold on eBay. I will update my budget later. It's not looking good

Hello mavvymoo, I am still here reading! Impressed with everyone's low spends and thoughtfulness.
I'm struggling a bit emotionally now that I know I've been replaced by someone 20 years younger. But I hope you will all be proud of me - I haven't bought any clothes for a month!
I have been wearing some of my new dresses that I hadn't worn before, and enjoying them. There are new things I've seen that I would have previously bought, but I want to do some things to the house and I need to prioritise that. I know I don't need the new clothes and that it wouldn't make me feel better to buy them. I feel better being in control of my money.
Long may the feeling last.
Will keep reading and try to post more. Thank you for thinking of me.Fashion on the Ration 2020 - 5/66 spent0 -
Vintagegal - that must be really tough - anyone would struggle having found that out. Well done for controlling your spending in spite of it. Also for wearing your new dresses - Remember the saying "The best revenge is to live well" . Hugs to you & a pat on the back for being fabulous xxxShifting my energy for 20200

vintagegal Thank you for updating and letting us know how you are doing.
I had the same as that happen to me.She was 20 years youngerBut the lies hurt me more than anything else. But as I recovered and got stronger it was funny trying to watch him do the hip trendy things to keep hold of the younger women.Which he never did manage and she left him sometime down the road for a much younger bloke
Lucky we never had children so I have no idea where he is or what he is doing now and dont care
Look after yourself and keep wearing your lovely dresses that make you feel good.Take one day at a time and you will get stronger
Well done for your no spending that is amazing :TWe are all very proud of you. What do you fancy doing to your house ? As I am there at the moment and would love to hear you ideas
