Well done to all of you who managed a no spend February.
I bought something a couple of weeks ago from the chazza shop. A phase eight dress that fitted really well and will be good for work - £15 which I think is a lot for a charity shop, but it looked brand new, so I need to add that to the £7.50 I've spent so far this year.Crazy clothes challenge 2017 - 30/3000 -

Next weekend I'm away on a hen party. Our dress 'code' is smart casual and everyone's talking about having bought new stuff to wear!! In theory I can make do (and I have my dress for the wedding as long as it fits - having a feeling-fat-and-frumpy month with no willpower to lose weight), but I'm shopping with my friend tomorrow for her to pick up some accessories, and I've just received my £100 M&S gift card for switching banks so what will be will be.... So, I'm thinking carefully about [not] spending but if something does catch my eye (and preferably in M&S LOL) then I may treat myself.SPCNo.18 #20 (17 £562.86 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)

Isn't it off the knee jerk reaction we have to weddings and pre-wedding celebrations. I have two weddings this year, one very expensive and I am planning on wearing dresses I already have to both (one is new just haven't worn it yet) in fact, I'm swapping round which dress I was going to wear to which wedding as one fits in better with the theme than the one I was planning to wear. Will clean up shoes I have (prob re-heeling) for one and not sure about the other yet.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I had a no-clothes-spend January and February, but I'm away on a hen weekend next week and inevitably, the conversation switched to what we were going to wear. In theory, I didn't need anything new as I had enough to wear in my wardrobe. Anyway today I was meant to meet the friend I'm going with, but she bailed at the last moment (as in, I was already waiting for her - didn't check my phone sooner, she didn't actually leave it that late) so I ended up let loose by myself. I also had my £100 gift card for switching to M&S bank. Sainsbury's had a number of half-price sale rails so I gave them the once over. In my defence, I put 4 tunics/dresses back. But I'm on a bit of a 'dress' kick at the moment (although I did also buy a skirt). Maybe it's my age, I don't know. I'm fed up of wearing jeans and feeling frumpy despite how comfy they are. I guess I'm a bit bored with my existing wardrobe as well, not helped by needing to shift some weight so the frumpy feeling isn't confined to the jeans! Anyway, I still rarely pay full price for clothes and ended up paying £37.00 for £84.00-worth of dresses and a pair of slippers (also redeemed £5 off my Nectar card).
I also had a look in M&S and got a £55 Per Una dress for £17.99 (never pay full price for Per Una). I did also buy a shapewear slip which was £27.50 (you can't put a price on good shapewear and I swear by M&S), a twin-pack of skinny belts for £8 and some tights to wear with my dress for the wedding (in 4 weeks' time) for £6. Put a good dent in the gift card but it'll be getting topped up £10 p.m. while I'm paying my wages into that account. Win. I've got my dress for the wedding, a Wallis bargain last autumn that I wore to Hamlet at the Barbican. It has a jewelled neckline so don't need to massively accessorise, and I bought a sparkly light pink scarf/pashmina to wear with it as although the wedding is at the beginning of April, it's all in one place so don't really need a top layer - even if it's cool I'm sure I can manage outdoors for a few photos.
Anyway, that should be me done for a few months now.SPCNo.18 #20 (17 £562.86 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)

hello all
Well done to everyone with no or small spends for Feb:T
All this wedding talk has made me think I am going to a posh wedding in June and I have decided I am going to buy bu**er all clothes for it :rotfl:If I cant find something in my wardrobe I need shootingI am NOT blowing my budget for the sake of 1 day and someone elses wedding
As I am really getting the hang of this lark now
If I find something I love in a Chazzer fair enough I will spend but the dress I love that I have seen is £169  So it will be staying in the shop along with the jacket I would also have to buy on top of the £169
Anyway thats my thoughts on the subject
