Just reporting no clothes spending at all in February
working tomorrow so no danger of being tempted to buy anything. For March I MUST buy a pair of trainers as I have none and need some flat shoes for driving lessons. Other than that I plan to not buy anything else clothes wise. Hoping to continue using up toiletries too and don't think I will need to buy any more... Will do my best to stick to it anyway...

2 pair of Primark jeggings for me today £13. I'm struggling with a nickel allergy at the min so need a break from wearing jeans & belts.
£42.60/£300.
Reporting in .. nothing spent in February :jMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
My lovely sister bought me a M&S jumper.....Thanks sis!
I have £2 left over from this month and £10 from last month to carry over to March. So my March budget will be £22 :T
This month I have only been browsing clothes shops once. I'm hoping to have the same success in the coming months. That's my plan anyway.
I found that when I thought I needed something new to wear, I would browse my own clothes and find something I had either forgotten I'd had or hadn't worn for a while and jazzed it up with a scarf or statement jewellery.:)
Good luck with your budget for next month!:jLiving a frugal retirement without treading on the planet :T

A final February splurge of £16.70 😔
I bought a top and a Cardi/ top combo so I should be ok for a while on the top front.
Total spends of £52.68/£3000 -
Bought myself a leather belt yesterday - reduced in A1di from £4.99 to £2.50.
I originally got my works trousers in a size 12 - did up fine and could sit down in them, but they were too tight around the thighs to allow me to crouch down which I need to be able to do as many houses still have a letterbox at the bottom of their door!
So I had to swap my trousers for a 14, which were slightly loose around the waist when I got them. After just a few weeks I'm having to hitch them up whilst out and about. As such I considered a belt an essential purchase.....
I only own a couple of belts (very, very rare for me to use one), and neither was suitable for use with my uniform. So I consider this purchase to be within my challenge allowables.Cheryl0 -

Hi Kerry I think you can do whatever's best for you, I don't include my family's things but I know others do, so I think it's up to you, whatever works.0 -
I have spent £60 on new tops for work, my old ones were starting to look tatty. First spend on clothes of 2016 and I'm that used to not spending on clothes now that I did feel a tad guilty (this is something I could get over very quickly though:o)
