Ps sold two more items on fleabay last night, one for a decent amount, the other less so but at least they've sold. The dress made it to Italy and the buyer loves it....I want it back now :rotfl:

lexbubbles I agree with kerri. Where are they from ? Are there any reviews on them saying the same ?

I have no idea how anyone would be able to wear them if they are that bad.

Well done kerri For letting the dress free to strut its stuff in Italy :-)

Today I went to buy some skechers, which I got. The outlet also had a sale in the Nike outlet. I bought a pair of Nike free 5.0 for £28, so £53 spent in total today. I will adjust my signature, to deduct this money and the £14 I spent on the top on Friday.

    Under £200 left now.

I haven't spent any more of this month's budget and I haven't even had time to browse the shops!:o
I will just keep carrying over any un-spent money. I'm trying hard to make do with the sports clothes I already have, but I'm not sure how long I can keep putting off buying new!

  • Hello

Just popping by to say I am still reading and TRYING to be better!

I did buy two dresses that we all know I don't need, in the sale. Half price was what did it... and needing cheering up.

Anyway I do know that shopping is not the answer and I won't do it again.

Still not sorted on the home front and now it appears that he has been lying to me.. but I am doing my best to get the financial and legal stuff sorted. Finding out about the lying has made me lose my appetite somewhat so maybe I'll be able to get in some of those smaller dresses soon ;)

I've also been unsubscribing from shopping emails as much as I can.

I know I've spent a lot this year compared with some, but I am sorry to say that it is a drop in the ocean of what I would have done previously. But I will have to watch my pennies now I am a single mum.

Well done to you all! You are all doing so well and really thinking about every purchase.

A shoe shop on ebay. There are no reviews for that particular pair, and as a) it's after 14 days and b) there is literally nothing wrong with them to look at so nothing to indicate defective and c) they've now been worn I don't have a leg to stand on.

I've no idea how anyone could wear them, either. I have 6" platforms that are more comfortable and easier to walk in :rotfl:

I'm afraid I've failed on getting a second no spend in a row.

Pair of jeans from the 25% off TU, were £14 so £10.50. I redeemed £5 in Nectar points so I think I only have to confess to/count £5.50. £14 seemed cheap for what Sainsbury's usually try selling jeans for.

Would have redeemed £10 in points but there's no changing room in store and I wasn't sure how it'd work re: returns if paid for in points, so as I had £5 something in other items, I took the £5.

You've just reminded me I've got some nectar points I can use towards some jeans.

Never had a nectar card before, do I tell them at the till I want to redeem them and what's the minimum I can redeem.
    Thanks

Yes, just tell them at the till how much you want to redeem or use the self-service, select 'redeem Nectar points' and touch the amount you want to redeem.

Minimum redemption is £2.50 (500 points.) You can only redeem points in £2.50/500 point multiples.

lexbubbles - what a pain about those boots - literally.

vintagegal - I think we all fall foul of comfort shopping.

I have completed my first day at my new job - I wore a plain black pencil skirt (ebay), a hot pink long sleeved top from Long Tall Sally (already owned) and a H&M black round neck cardigan (ebay). It all looked very office appropriate and I was comfortable in it all too.

I am now in my running gear which is even more comfy - I am going to brave the freezing wind in a bit.
