Just had to chuck the leopard ankle boots I bought in the bin. They arrived on the 4th but today was the first time I'd worn them.

I've never in my life worn such an uncomfortable and badly designed pair of shoes. Like, it must have taken special effort and some serious engineering to make them that bad. The heel is only 2" but it feels like walking around in a pair of 8" pinpoint stilettos. Every muscle in my legs is screaming from the effort of remaining upright and my left foot kept rolling outward. When I got home I looked them over and can't *see* anything wrong with them - not even the left one - so I don't know why they're so awful

Only went to the post office (.75 miles away) but actually walked back in my socks even though it was raining heavily because that preferable.

I'm past the return date (and don't have the box anyway), and I'm not going to sell them because I wouldn't inflict that on anyone.

So, if anyone comes across a pair of leopard print ankle boots with a 2" or lower heel for less than £15 hit me up because I'm back in the market.

M+s had some in their final clearance in our local store.

Ooh we have one in town, though I think it might only be an outlet? I've no budget left for this month though :(

Hi Debtfreedolly When you are logged in you will see above 'quick links' If you click on that and then about half way down the list you will see edit sig or something like that.:D You can do it there ;) I am sure someone will come along with better instructions than me :rotfl:

So £30 a month sounds good so with 10 months left you have a £300 budget. Thats the same as a lot of folk on here :D

    Good luck

Ah great, think I might have to be on the laptop to change my sig but will do it ASAP :) am being good today, I quite often have a poddle round the shops on a Saturday after volunteering but I am going to go straight home and avoid the temptation instead! I plan to try and have a wardrobe sort through this week and see what (if anything) I really do NEED this month and next... Might even find something to sell... Thanks for the motivation!!!
  • I've got a trapped nerve in my bag-carrying shoulder (although I'm right-handed I carry my bag on my left shoulder - apparently this makes me strange) so my GP has told me to stop carrying it (shopper size/style). That meant buying a slightly larger cross-body bag than I currently own and a smaller purse, means carrying less stuff as well although I'm also using a cotton bag for carrying my lunch, etc. But no clothes and no shoes bought this month (I'm working to the 18th of each month as that's the date we get paid)

Sorry to hear about the trapped nerve, I'm prone to them for some reason and it's awful. I'm a left hander and carry my bags on my right shoulder so I don't think you're odd. It makes sense to me as you can then reach into your bag for what you want using your dominant hand.

    Morning all
I also have a lovely leather bag which I splashed out £160  Before this challenge may I add. I cant use it as it kills my shoulder and back as it just seems to hang to low and is too big even if I just have a purse in there :( I need to sell it on really but havent got around to it.I am right handed and wear it on my Right shoulder so that makes me normal right ? ;)

lexbubbles OMG those Boots sound so awful nothing worse glad you chucked them out shame you couldnt send them back :(

I have just purchased a pair of Orange linen wide leg trousers reduced to £7.99 with postage :D I love this style and I love Orange. They have some fab Colours left in my size but now I am more aware of this challenge I will see what these are like before I buy any more :D Where as before I would have brought all 7 Colours and then have 7 pairs I dont like :rotfl:

If they are awful I will send them back if not I may buy some more as I love them for the Summer and I seem to suit this style :)
I did bin a few pairs last year as they were past their best or were to big :(

So did it in a week I have already had a spend :rotfl:

Wont add it to my total yet until I see if I like them

Forgot to add I have also picked up another 2 NWT bra sets :rotfl:But these have 4 pairs of 'Short' type pants with each set so 8 pairs :D Which I normally pay £16 A PAIR for  and the bras are £33 so I make that £194 for the lot. I paid £26 including postage

So I dont need any underwear for at least a year :D

I dont think I am going to add underwear and it was also brought with the survey paypal money so have spent £76 for( 7 new bras and 8 pairs of shorts) of the £100 and will call it quits now ;)So Bravissimo I wont be spending £355 for this lot in your store for the forseeable future ;)

I keep looking at them wondering how they possibly made them so bad. Why does the left one keep rolling outward? Why do they make me hobble and limp so much? What on earth did they DO to them? :rotfl:

I really really miss my old Primark boots. Sadly they were beyond repair :(

I would actually be tempted to return them as defective and not fit for purpose if you can?
