Still nothing bought this year and that includes DH and the kids too. I find the best way is not to look - it makes it all very easy.

So true, I'm a big online shopper and Instagram is often my downfall! I should probably unfollow all my favourites.
Or make a pledge to only buy in shops, that would cut me down because it's not as tempting to me.
Fashion on the Ration 2020 - 5/66 spent
  • went shopping at the weekend and got a new gym top £12 and some black jeans from ebay £8 for work. was so tempted to buy more gym stuff but stopped myself.
  • Well done to everyone with no spends so far, and it sounds like the rest of you have only had small spends or still spending Christmas vouchers so :T:T:T

I'm still on no spends but not for want of trying :rotfl: I keep looking but so far not loving anything.
I'm really fed up with the clothes I'm wearing for work and feel like I have about 7 outfits that I rotate. I had a huge clear out this time last year and when I started stocking up again I was buying spring and summer clothes. Also I must confess that I have some things I either can't fit into or they show off my muffin top too much :o

I always seem to have more clothes for the spring and summer than for winter. anyone else have that problem?

I'm fed up with my clothes too. I wear the same old things to work and it's really boring. Maybe I'll spend some of my budget on a couple of new tops and see how I get on. I haven't seen anything that I particularly like though. I'll sell the stuff that bores me.

I wear the same things in the autumn and winter as I do in the summer really, with the addition of a cardi. I look like a tramp all year < that's probably a bit harsh, but I'm in a bad mood today!!

I think we all wear the same old things time after time :rotfl:I know I do :o
I have also been having a look around Rowan Moon and have found nothing I have loved either so it must be the time of the year.

I have had a brainwave I am going to change my target from 5 months no spending To 25 weeks :rotfl:Is that cheating ? I dont think so it just seems easier to me even if its the same time (ish)

As now as I know I have blown this month its like oh well I can buy now as it doesnt matter so if I just blow a week. I can still get 3 weeks of not spending in that Month :rotfl:

So going to change my sig now ;)

I have been through my clothes today and I feel a little bit embarrassed I have 34 T shirts, 16 pairs of jeans, 22 Jumpers, 12 coats, 67 pairs of socks that's pretty much all I wear for work and casual as I'm a courier and just wear casual, My birthday is in April so just some new underwear will be asked for for that. I really do need a year of no clothes buying lol

I'm sure it was Gok / Trinny & Susannah or one of that 'how to transform your wardrobe' lot said we tend to wear something like 10% of our wardrobe 90% of the time.

I am probably guilty of the same thing, plus my work environment has changed in the past year so I don't need to wear some of what I used to - but might in the future so am hanging onto it.

I think we're back in that in-betweeny season stage, no one want to shop for winter / Xmas sales are done but it's not quite time to shop for spring yet so we end up with weird mid-season collections. Except in Primarni who already have their summer bikinis and sandals out

No spends here but basically because I haven't been shopping, don't have room really for more clothes, don't have the money and can't really be bothered. Still...it means I'm not spending so that's a positive :D

I think you are right kerri with the 90% thing we all do it I think to some degree.

I also cant be bothered to shop for clothes either which is a first for me :D Everything is so dull and boring at the moment.

Had a quick look at my Spring and Summer clothes (the ones that are not packed away ;) And I have plenty as I did get a few new bits in the sale at the end of Summer last year. So will see what I have but looking at the lot I can see I think I have more than enough :o

I have lost a few lbs again so everything fits ok just need to keep it that way ;) Until I get a chance to wear it :rotfl:

So nothing spent and not planning to go anywhere over the weekend to be tempted but who knows :rotfl:
