Two pairs of Cargo Pants added to my wardrobe - works issue, so no cost to me :)

Only impact they have to this challenge is that it means I no longer have to wear my own trousers (running tights), so their life expectancy is now extended again ;)

With regards to how many of our clothes we wear, I hardly wear anything in my overfull wardrobe now I'm in a job with a uniform :o 5 days each week are spent in uniform, so I only need "my own" clothes for 2 days. And those go through the laundry with my uniform does, which means they're washed and dried for my next day(s) off as uniform gets washed when I have a set for one day left (every 4th working day I come home, shower, put on my PJs, and set the laundry off. 5th set for wearing 'tomorrow' and the rest dry for the following working day which could be the next day). I've got a week off next month (purely to use my annual leave) which is going to be a shock to the system when it comes to getting dressed :D

  • First shopping trip of the month. It started off very money saving - bought a pair of thick woolly gloves I've been searching for for ages for £3.99 (Gap - reduced from £14.99). My other two items are more "useful" than "needed" but considering I'm only tracking what I'm spending this year, it's ok. Bra for £34!! (I wanted a t-shirt bra and need a 28" band so Bravissimo is my only option for a physical store where I can try them on. It's more convenient than ebay but much more expensive). Then some shoes from Fatface - £24 (20% discount). My mum has offered to pay for them for my birthday, so I might be taking some money off if she refunds me.

I also ordered a few things online that arrived today but will all be returned so no spend there.

So that's £61.99 spent today (3 items) and £84.39 total for the year (8 items).

I think we all wear the same old things time after time :rotfl:I know I do :o
I have also been having a look around Rowan Moon and have found nothing I have loved either so it must be the time of the year.

I have had a brainwave I am going to change my target from 5 months no spending To 25 weeks :rotfl:Is that cheating ? I dont think so it just seems easier to me even if its the same time (ish)

As now as I know I have blown this month its like oh well I can buy now as it doesnt matter so if I just blow a week. I can still get 3 weeks of not spending in that Month :rotfl:

So going to change my sig now ;)

    Hello

Counting week rather than months is a good idea. I didn't commit to any no spend months, but to be able to say I haven't bought anything for 'X' weeks is quite motivating.

rawdinosaur You are in the same boat as me with Bravissimo  I am a 30" so what I do now is go in there try on what I want normally I buy one and then buy what others I want on Brastop for half the price.

I do have my eye on my size being sold on the Bay all new and the lady has 7 of them all tagged  I have just messaged her and asked if she will combine postage and she said if I buy 2 or more she will do free postage. She has them up at £10 each so a bargain. Better than the £33 each they are in Bravissimo.

So we will see how I get on dont have to add them as I have £100 survey money sitting there ;)

My thoughts as well :D I think I will do better with weeks as if I do spend in one month I just think to hell with it might as well make the most of it :rotfl:So if I spend in week 1 I can still get 3 weeks in that month if I dont spend :rotfl: That sounds as clear as mud but I know what I mean ;)

Gem -Gem Good job I never buy FF they are always too big and never fit me :D and I never really like much in there ;) Which is good news if they have a sale on :rotfl:

But something funny just happened. I have a zip up jacket in a Electric Blue which is really fluffy and furry I love it and wear it loads.:rotfl:So I thought that I would have a look on EB*Y and see if I could get another one in different colour well yes I could if I wanted to pay £279 plus shipping from Canada for the exact same one :eek::eek: in Pink or Black. Its a rare vintage one :) Mine came from a Chazzer for £3 :rotfl:It is now in the wash not to sell it as I love it too much. But to give it a little respect ;)

  • CS had a "everything for £1.00 day - bought 2 dresses - one was from "East", the other from a brand I haven't heard of - but both are excellent condition and easy to wear, flattering styles. Happy with my purchase.

One benefit of suddenly becoming an exercise fiend a few years back is that my back size has gone up from 30" to 32" so I get to take advantage of the cheap t-shirt bras in Primark - actually my bra collection is awful, I have several that are at least 4 if not more years old - I've actually re-sewn the straps on one :o

I recall Panache use to do nice 30" sizes when I wore them.

Posted the items I sold on fleabay today, sold three out of seven and the others are back on the bay. Hope the buyers like them. One dress is off to Italy.

Yes kerri These are Panache which are my favorites I am a big cup size so doubt Pr*mark would go up to my size in a 32"

.But have never looked to be honest.

Funny I am the other way with exercise I have gone from a 32" to a 30" strange how these things work.

Glad the stuff sold on The Bay,Hope the Dress gets to its new home ok as Italy has one of the worst postal systems in the world. But I have sent a few things there and they got there ok :D
