Well today I stood on a cold train platform for an hour rather that going in the shops in the local shopping centre. How motivated is that :D

Thanks for letting me join in.
I'm thinking put me down for £300 please.
But I don't want that £300 to include £65 which I've got left from Christmas cash/gift cards or any that I might get throughout the year, or Salvation Army card stamps (Locally if you buy a reusable donation bag, fill it & return it to the Sally Army shop they give you a £2 gift card stamp t spend instore, Im not sure if its a national thing but check out your local shop.)
I'm not sure how I'll get on with the budget as I'm hopefully dropping dress sizes but I'm going to give it a go.
I did have a no spend January though, didn't even buy anything in the sales when I had my Christmas money as I'm thinking keep it till I reach my target & buy something special.

Well done on your weight loss :T A few of us have been where you are and I can say as I was going down the sizes (as I lost 7 stone) :o
I never spent a lot of money on any clothes mine all came from Chazzers and as I dropped a size the big ones were donated back.:D
It worked for me and even to this day I very rarely buy anything new.

I was very tempted to buy a pair of Levi demi curve jeans in my size for a £5  on wednesday. These are the ones I wear but these were straight leg which I am not that keen on. But I thought I could cut them down to make 3/4s for Summer. But really didnt want to blow the no spend month so left them behind for someone else ;)

That was as hard as standing on a Station platform for an hour :rotfl:Well done 32be3 I am impressed :T

Keep your eyes shut and leave that stuff (you dont really really need behind )

    Mav x

I lost 6 stone in 2014 and made do with my existing clothes for as long as possible by using belts with dresses and jeans etc plus I had some smaller sizes already which I started to wear again. I didn't buy much until I had pretty much lost it all but what I did buy came from ebay/charity shops.

Well done. Doesn't sound fun but at least you kept your money safe and sound in your purse.

Delighted to report I got through January with only my £7 spent :)
Sold a pair of boots on ebay for £40 so well pleased and will be putting money into savings pot rather than adding to clothes budget. Took a pair of jods that are very old but a favourite to local repairers to have zip replaced. £11 spent. This is cheaper than buying new and I hope it is not cheating to say the £11 is not coming off the years spend ?? As its repairing rather than buying new. Hopefully justification won you all round :rotfl:
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

    Welcome coppers:wave:

£8 spend on a pair of summer trousers yesterday. They were reduced from £32, and although I didn't NEED them, they were a bargain and I love them. I don't feel too bad as they were within my £10 monthly budget and I didn't spend last month. Can't wait for my hols to wear them!:j:j

Hi Everyone thanks for the friendly welcome. I think I might struggle a bit with this with things I don't count but should count, for example when I was figuring out my budget yesterday, thinking what have I spent it didn't even occur to me I'd had a spend that day, I'd bought a cancer research unity band (£2) when I bought my shopping. To be fair I didn't want the band, I'm not going to wear it its just ended up as clutter and I'm trying to declutter, lesson learned next time I'll just make a donation & not take the whatever.
So I've blown my no spend February that's me £2/£300
I'm sure I'll get into the swing of it soon though.
