Evening
There has been a change of plan with the jeans which are too big for me. I was telling my friends about this challenge at the weekend and was saying that the first pair of jeans I bought were too big. One of my friends is on a diet and has lost nearly 2 stone so far so I am giving her the too big jeans as her inspiration to carry on losing weight. When she fits into them she will wear them until they are too big for her and then pass them on to someone else. So my budget is staying as it is.
I walked through house of Fraser on my way home from work today and didn't even stop to look at the final reductions. I didn't even want anything at 70% off.

Still no buys for me - fed up that nothing fits in my draws as it is. That said I desperately need some new slippers as mine are falling apart and my feet get cold in them on our floor.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Hi there
Sounds like everyone is displaying impressive willpower!
Except maybe me..
The shoes came and I am going to decide tonight whether they are keepers. But in the meantime I ordered some more...so by the end of this week I will have officially spent something but not sure what that is yet.
We told our children at the weekend that Daddy was moving out so it has been a tough week. I think ordinarily I would have shopped even more than I have, it was a 70% off sale that got me for the shoes!
Another shameful thing - I counted up how many dresses I have that still have the tags on - 10 that fit me now, and 8 that are a little small. So I can't tell you that I need any more can I?
I need to keep control so that I can better support the children, which I desperately want to be able to do.
Hopefully when everything is sorted out it will be easier, at the moment I feel like I am in limbo.

vintagegal I really feel for you as I have been where you are now:( I think we can forgive the shoes for now
It is a horrible time with that limbo feeling going on but one morning you will wake up and feel a bit better and start deciding which direction you are heading in.
No I dont think you need anymore dresses for now and you also may find that as life changes for you some of them dont suit your lifestyle so there is always E*ay
Move forward when you can take one day at a time.
Willpower lets hope we all get it in spades as I think I am going to need it
Thank you Gem Gem I think you are right and it is almost an addiction so just need to break that habit. Well done to you I am going to follow in your footsteps

Failed spectaculularly (sp). Kondo'd the wardrobe even though I am not a hoarder I am a spur of the moment shopper and I don't always think twice before I buy. Gave lots of clothes to CS that were not perfect for me. Made the rest into outfits with a list of things I needed to fill the gaps. Then went on-line and shopped the gaps (still on the spur of the moment). Don't know the total spend yet as I may not keep everything but I reckon half my yearly budget has gone. Perhaps I ought not to post on here again until 1st July.Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot. :think:0

Had a little spend today. £3 on a lovely John rocha top in the BHF shop.
It had the little sticker on the inside label so I'd wager it hasn't ever been worn. It's been washed now and will be worn tomorrow when I'm meeting a friend for coffee.

Well the budge might be in danger, but at least you're thinking about a budget which is probably progress if you're here so I don't call that a total fail (something I picked up from the nsd thread is that we don't fail, we just don't quite meet out target / life gets in the way / we learn or change our thinking - none of which is a fail so don't beat yourself up) in fact I think we should adopt the nsd rule and ban the F-word from here too.
Still no spends here but still tempted by those £7 leggings ..... Not that I need anymore do I mavFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
