Still no thought anything but haven't left the house all week due to illness!:(

I've had lots of time thinking about clothes and I thought it would be easy not to buy any considering how much I have. Anyway,I think I'm missing the whole 'shopping experience', as apart from hiking gear, I don't really need anything, so I think what I'm missing is the browsing, and look of the clothes.:(
I wish I had given myself even a tiny budget now, but never mind, there's no gain without pain!;)

I don't think it's too late to give yourself a small budget if you can afford to.

    Hi All
Sounds like everyone is doing really well. I haven't spent anything this weekend, so spend is still at £3. I decorated my bedroom this weekend and am really pleased I have not added to the clutter recently. In fact I got rid of a bag of thermal clothing I had kept from a skiing trip in Scotland twenty years ago, "just in case" but had never worn since.

Mavvymoo and Kerri gt'....I think k you are right. I will give myself a buffer of £10 a month as suggested.:)
Even if I don't spend it all, at least I can get my 'fix' and not feel guilty if I pick something up that I need.;)
    Cheers me-dears!

Loving this challenge. Was out at the weekend and I found myself trying on a coat. I have 3 I wear around the house and stables and I don't really like any of them but they are all serviceable if very old. And then I realised I would be spending 1/4 of this years budget in January - and - I didn't love the coat that much. It was easy to put it back :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
  • No spends for me yet :A See my halo halo halo :rotfl:
Like you Mavvy I had a little look in the chazza shops but no joy was being sparked so I walked away empty handed.

I have put some weight in over the winter but January is my least favourite month, so I will galvanise myself into action in February . Then I can wear all the things that are a bit of a squeeze at the moment. :T

Rowan Moon I reckon we both deserve that halo :rotfl:

I am finding it hard but I think its just knowing I cant buy anything this month :rotfl:
I am like you and really dont need a thing I just want to buy it :o I am sure its just a habit which will get easier as time goes on ;)

Onwards and upwards the £100 is waiting to be paid in to the clothes account next week if I can stop myself buying anything ;)
