tribalism is just the monkey sphere, the idea that primates including humans can only hold onto a limited number of meaningful social connections.

we were tribal because we cold only form social bonds with the people in the tribe as the next group of people were far away. So what is a human trait of only being capable of having so many friends was mistaken for birds of a feather stick together

However in the modern world tribalism is not birds of a feather stick together. Your tribe can include lots of different races and this is happening as kids grow up in mixed schools and have mixed friends and people intermarry into different races

I think divergence is a possibility, to bring this thread back to "house prices & the economy" I think the morlocks of the HG wells Time Machine could well be todays renters.

I do actually mean that in all seriously, When I went to uni which was a top tier uni, with in excess of 50% students from private education. I noticed, that the males where much taller and stronger than my comprehensive ilk, the women much more healthier and better looking than the potential fishwives I seen in 6th form.

Ultimately, Intelligence creates wealth, which attract the better looking in our species. Our genes will eventually separate into 2 pools, with the morlocks being the descendants of todays rentier class.

that's fine then : you won't defend your family, friends or standard of living as it is but a single tick and you and yours a total irrelevancy.
I however, see my family, friends and what is mine as worth quite a lot.

Maybe you should have to have a long length of residency or birth to obtain housing & paid stamps to obtain benefits.
The fault lies with our system that you can claim from without ever having paid into - this should apply to indeginious applicants too!

People are tribal in that they only have the capacity to care for a limited number of other people but who is in your tube is not determined by what they look like its usually just a matter of who you take into your tribe. To date thats often been limited by basically people within walking distance but as the world mixes you get small tribes made up of a mix of people.

You may not like that the world is mixing but its envitible. As technology and capital and humans mix how are you going to say no my corner of such and such town is to only be X. Hell its not likely you are a pure bred son of adam your likely a mix of people yourself.

The mixing is fine - it's mixing with backward savages who treat women like chattel & second class citizens & think it's fine to discriminate & even assault people based on their sexuality I personally have a problem with.

There is a militant backward group of Islam that has some disgusting ideas about women & gay people.

Me too, I've spoken to many young gay asian men in this position. And they really can't go to the authorities, such is the attitudes that the beliefs of other cultures can't be challenged. These people were accusations of racism cant be leveled at them, will find the police and other authorities neither willing to help or protect them, and when the inevitable happens, the failure to investigate.

It is a hidden shame of our culture, just as much as theirs, that we are unwilling to help and will sweep it under the carper because of political correctness.
