This kind of idiotic strawman is typical of someone who couldn't put together a reasoned argument but doesn't have the good sense to stay silent rather than be thought a fool.

I on the other hand don't need to resort to nonsense claims that you want to see the country destroyed. You're primary failure is that you're so blinded by intolerance and prejudice that given any real influence you'd destroy the very thing you claim to hold dear; fortunately given your inept performance on here I don't have to lose sleep worrying that you'll have any influence.

Here's a 'reasoned argument' for you (from your stance, it's obvious that this is what you are arguing for):

Quote from McDonnell of the labour party: 'Inevitably in this century we will have open borders, we're seeing it in Europe already. The movement of peoples across the globe will mean that borders are almost going to become irrelevant by the end of this century, so we should be preparing for that and explaining why people move.'

So letting millions of illegal migrants into Europe from the Middle East, Africa and Asia (including places like Pakistan, India and Myanmar), as condoned by labour, is the answer, is it?

I don't know what your origins are, but it appears that you wouldn't mind that in such a scenario, the vast majority of the indigenous populations of Europe would end up impoverished, with the strongest surviving and going after jobs, which would end up paying a pittance because of the competition. The middle classes would presumably disappear. The giant corporations at the 'top' would employ those who are willing to work for the least money, while the majority would be left destitute – particularly bearing in mind that there will be less and less employment for people in the future anyway. Unlike some European company owners of the past – for instance of small, local enterprises, where owners and employees often knew each other – the international corporations that run the world's economy do not have a 'social conscience'. They are divorced from national or human concerns and care only about profits for the world's richest individuals (refer to their extreme reluctance to pay tax, for example).

Of course, such a scenario would occur after enormous strife that would probably involve the destruction of indigenous European culture (depending on how many millions of illegal migrants from cultures that are inimical to ours were allowed in). Such strife is already occurring and will only get worse the more Europe is inundated with people that include many chancers (and worse) travelling on false passports. I find photographs of males who are obviously in their twenties and thirties but travelling as children (from Sweden and Germany) particularly chilling (they can't all have hormone problems, surely?). Thinking about the hirsute man in a camp with children who was shown in one of the papers, sitting clutching a teddy bear and grinning from ear to ear, is particularly nauseating, as is the towering Somali migrant 'child' who murdered a girl who was helping out migrants in Sweden. The thought of such people being put in classes and housed with actual children turns my stomach.

You may wish to live in such a dystopian world (which, by the sound of it, is utopian to you), but very many that love their countries and cultures and wish to keep their sovereignty do not. I hope they are not forced to fight to preserve European history and culture by the actions of naive/self-serving leaders and morons.

200 years ago the uk was the richest country on earth by quite a margin. Today there are 18 countries that have surpassed us on a gdp per capita basis

Is the population of the UK better or worse off than 200 years ago?
