Thankfully (most) western society has moved on & we are not backward homophobic sexists anymore.

Or murderers with a medieval mindset who will kill hundreds of innocents.

For one thing, I know that my parents and grandparents didn't kill people like this, though my father killed SS men when he, his family and his country were overrun and many people were being killed by the invaders – in other words in self-defence. It's something that I'm afraid will happen in much of Europe, and we are ill prepared for it – though once our backs are against the wall, we will defend ourselves to protect our own. I've no doubt of that, and there are already signs of it in the parts of Europe that have suffered large invasions of illegal migrants with a mind set that is totally alien to ours. (This is, of course, called 'racism' by naive fools, rather than a means of trying to protect your own – it is certainly understood in countries that have suffered successive invasions and occupations in the past.)

I think some people need to wake up. There's a reason why Muslims were twice expelled en masse from Europe.

we have already concluded your grandparents were murderers rapists chemical castrates of !!!!!exulas and killers of jews (plus a lot of existing folk in this country today still very much dislike gays and jews and irish and think poorly of women its just a bit less acceptable to say it out in public)

The dead monkey (who they thought was a frenchmen, eg a human) was killed because we can all be evil and we tend to be more evil the more distant the relative. The ideas of jobs/welfare/taking-our-women are all just secondary thoughts for the truth which is that we humans actually enjoy violence.

You can see it in football hooligans and idiots that go out to find/cause a fight. maybe its a remnant of our past when food was scarce and actively going out to kill the next tribe would perhaps been an advantageous thing to do.

large parts of Eastern Europe where still ruled by the Islamic caliphate at the end of the 19th century, many family have memories of the Turkish Army raiding their villages to cherry pick the best looking young boys. To be taken away to "service" the sultan and his aristocracy at court.

These countries know what Islamic rule is like and are damn sure they don't want it again. Even the socialists in these countries are opposed to the muslim migration. As exemplified recently by the socialist prime minister of the czech republic sharing a platform with Tommy Robinson, former leader of the EDL at a rally.

None of our spineless politicians would have the balls to do that.

Yes but to be fair, lots of countries also know what British colonialism looked like and don't want it again.

And helping people who are fleeing a war zone is not the same thing as inviting in a caliphate.

I do realise there is a lot of plain of economic migration going on rather than asylum seekers.

Or perhaps migrants from the Middle East and Africa happen to look as though they are in their twenties when they are in fact children below 10 years of age. :rotfl: Extraordinary. One learns something new every day.

I wish you did learn new things every day, instead of looking for new ways to spin the same xenophobic claptrap incessantly.

By your logic we learnt that all white western men who travel to the Philippines are !!!!!philes, after all if one of 'them' was caught doing it then they must all be at it.

As to changing the point of view of adults, you do indeed do an excellent job of demonstrating how ignorance and prejudice are hard things to overcome.

Yes – and I have been well aware of the above, historical part, since I was a child. Unfortunately (in this respect), countries such as Britain have not experienced the delights of invasion or occupation. I fear they will receive a shocking awakening, and trust it will not come too late to rectify the damage. It probably won't, but the longer this situation is allowed to fester and the naive, ignorant views exist, the more extreme the result and the more severe the measures that will be taken to resolve the problem. It is not something I wish to see, but as I've said, people will protect their own when their backs are against the wall. (I say that as someone who has studied/been involved in prehistory, history and archaeology of several key areas of the world, as well as natural history through my work.)
