I e got bowls of cut up lemons dotted around to try and minimise the paint fumes - they have really got to me.
I also painted a couple of fence panels yesterday with coloured preservative. They look really smart but it's nasty stuff. I'm gong to have a break for a couple of days before I can finish it. Next time I will wear a mask.......
I have so hurt my back and neck again. I feel like I'm in the wars.
I have booked Physio for tomorrow so I'm just going to potter around today and try not to overdo things. Some serious fabbing first and and then a bit of a "cook up" because I have some things that need using up soon.
Other than that not much news here. Looks a bit grey and there's a slight drizzle so not very thrilling.0 -

I went to watch Independence Day Resurgence with my 2 children at my local Odeon. I really enjoyed this film I would give it a 9 out of 10. There was only 1 other person watching the film with us, which was great as no noise to distract me from the film. :j
Honestly the price of popcorn and a drink is unbelievable in a Cinema. My children paid for their own. I took an ice cold 500ml bottle of water with me in my bag as I refused to pay extortionate prices for a drink for myself.
I wore my purple sleeveless M & S velour top with an envelope neckline and diamante embellishment. I wore it with a long black pull on skirt which has a yoke and a fluted hemline. I wore my black patent leather button detail Van Dal sling backs and took my every day black leather handbag. I wore my Wallis waterproof coat. No make up or nail polish but lots of perfume and matching perfumed body lotion.0 -
Yes I fancy Independence Day2 but I agree I won't be buying any in house treats, outrageous prices. I cheat and take something with me.
Had to cancel physio this morning......tummy upset, again!! Oh well I'll just have a little potter and take it easy.
I bought some argan oil/macadamia oil cleanser. It's just pure oil nothing nasty. I used it last night for the first time. I also used it afterwards instead of cream. My skin actually feels properly moisturised for the first time in months, instead of feeling dry and tight.
I shall be using up all the sundry face creams as body butters rather than waste them. I think long term though I need oils for my skin not creams or lotions. So once this lot is all used up I shall start making my own again.
Looks like rain is on its way ......Again!!!!0 -

Layering like that is a great way of intensifying the effects of your favourite perfume.lessonlearned wrote: »I shall be using up all the sundry face creams as body butters rather than waste them. I've just been using my usual Benefit moisturiser on my face and neck since the start of my holiday as it meant just taking one pot away with me. I've put Aldi day cream on my shopping list as when I was using it up as neck cream (didn't agree with my face) and it worked a treat. Very mse too as it makes the Benefit go further.lessonlearned wrote: »Yes I fancy Independence Day2 but I agree I won't be buying any in house treats, outrageous prices. I'm still fragile. I had my best day yesterday and was all set to go dancing (last session before summer break) then I had a fit of coughing at teatime so I knew I'd never last the evening.:( I've cancelled a meal I was supposed to be going to this evening rather than risk it but am hoping to get my nails done and a bit of light food shopping this afternoon. It's more than 4 weeks since I had shellac done on my nails and not a chip but regrowth is looking bad now. Ironically my nails seem to grow really well when I've got the shellac on them but far more slowly without it?????
I've made an appointment for a facial and back massage on Friday. It was a Groupon I bought that runs out this week and luckily remembered at last minute. It wouldn't be the first time I've bought a voucher and forgotten about it.:o0 -

Hi Maman, just to let you know for future Groupon expired vouchers. You can have the credit added to your Groupon Account. Then you can use it to buy the same deal again or any other deal on the Groupon site. I have had to do this myself more than once, all it takes is a quick phone call to Groupon customer service.
I usually just take an ice cold bottle of water from home to the Cinema. I do not miss eating snacks when I am watching a film at the Cinema.
LL sorry to hear that your stomach is playing you up again. It is a shame you had to cancel your physio as you were really in need of it for your back and neck pain.
I went to the Horniman Museum today and my daughter decided to come along with me at the last minute. We had a really interesting time looking at all of the artefacts and exhibitions.I wore a 3/4 sleeved dusky pink top with my black Wallis pull on skirt, my black ck socks and my black leather Slazenger trainers as it was raining and my black leather boots are too high to do lots of walking. :rotfl: I wore my black Wallis waterproof coat and had my every day black leather handbag in my black patent leather Playboy tote shopping bag. I wore perfume, but no make up or nail polish.

sugar I love the Horniman Museum and don't live too far from it myself. The children love the aquarium.
Up thread, I wrote that I was contemplating buying another lip colour, despite having just bought 3 lip crayons. Well, I took the plunge and bought it. I was eyeing up the colour last year, so it wasn't a complete impulse buy. The Sales Assistant told me the colour was being discontinued and as it was half price, it was pretty cheap. I know it's not very MSE of me, but I figured that the lip crayons will be put away until December, so I will be able to enjoy the lip gloss now. It's my first proper 'red', but it's quite sheer, so I don't feel self conscious wearing it.
I'm now eyeing up a denim dress. I've seen one I like, but I have to figure out the logistics of buying it. My Mum bought me a shopping voucher for Westfield Shopping Centre for Xmas. Now, you are probably wondering why I haven't spent it - I decided I wanted to put it towards something a bit more expensive, but I haven't had the time or inspiration to choose wisely. I've recently 'decided' I need a denim dress so I want to use my voucher for the purchase. I hope you are keeping up!! So, I've seen a dress online, which looks promising, so I have to order it and pay for it online. If I like it, I'll have to the Westfield branch, so that I can refund the card payment and 're-purchase it using the shopping voucher. I'm not sure I can be bothered with the faff though!!!0 -
Chanie, it is indeed a small world. Glad to hear that there is another South Londoner on this thread. My youngest is a 16 year old son, so he is no longer interested in the Horniman Museum. My daughter and I really enjoyed our visit.0

(Very!) belated happy birthday LL, and good luck with the house hunting and general wellbeing. The oils sound lovely, I have a Boots one but not too impressed with it, if you could make/ customise your own that sounds much nicer.
What a busy bee you have been Sugarbaby! I can see why Wayne would want to be with you, it sounds like you have a very full and interesting life, and despite all his money he's probably a bit bored. My OH had money but lacked the organisational skills to find things to do! Anyhow, I hope you can remain friends if that's what you'd both like, and enjoy the rest of your holidays
Hope you feel better soon maman and get back to dancing!
Not much to report from me, OH has been working long hours so we haven't talked much, not sure if that's a good or bad thing! Nothing to report from work either on the potential redundancy. OH got his bank statement yesterday and had a little moan that the money he'd put in an account for me had gone (I spent the last a couple of weeks ago, but couldn't face the moaning when I told him!). When I worked it out though, I've spent around £1200 over two months, which includes milk, nappies, food etc for the boys, food shopping for the house, and everything personal for me - I don't think that's too unreasonable?!
Thank you again to everyone for their kind words and suggestions of help. I'm a bit in limbo till I hear from work, but will keep you all postedFinally debt free!! March 2018 :j0
