Thanks for posting that article Slinky, it made me shed a tear because despite family ill health and the usual mini 'crises' of life, I feel extremely lucky.

The Big Job outside in 32.5C yester went well, thank goodness. I was dreading it but DH is a hardworker and I only had to push a wheel barrow round ( loads not too heavy but a lot of distance covered!). Should help the weight loss which now stands at 1 stone 4.5 lbs. Aiming for 1..5 stone by the end of next week so only 2.5 lbs to go to reach another sub-target :D

Paid work today but hoping to be home early enough to catch some sun SITTING in the garden!

Have a day with joyful moments within,

    M
I have changed my work-life balance to a life-work balance.

Morning all.I agree with the pokemon thing Tete :rotfl:

Both Lolly and Lola caught and now at the vets and very good luck to the vets as they are going to need it !!!!

Lolly managed to bite my finger even though I had thick protective gloves !!! on. How grateful is that cat ;)But at least she is fighting fit now which is a big change from before. Also she has kondoed a Tshirt for me as even though I had a thick jacket on to protect my arms she has made a big hole in it :D

So all in all very stressful but good news the kittens are doing ok without their Mum and eating well. She should be able to go back with them after 24 hours and then we will have to hope for the best.

So hopefully all will settle down on the cat front soon and they can just do whatever cats do lay around in the sun etc.:D

Been a stressful couple of days if the truth be known so should get better I hope :)

Why are some delivery companies so carp waited in all day yesterday and no show. Checked online showing as signed and delivered at 19.10 when I was catching Lola, Just messaged them oh no thats been done in error and its back out for delivery today. So I ask can I have a delivery slot please. Oh no cant do that. Can the driver phone me before hand please as I have got to collect the cats at some point as I waited in all day yesterday. Oh no cant be sure driver will but he might  But might not. If im out can I leave a note for him to leave it in safe place ?Oh no it needs signing :mad:Me oh just forget it then if I miss him I miss him it can go back to the sender and I will get a refund. I have tried everyway but you cant help me :(

Him can I help you with anything else today ? Me No ! could you please leave a 5 star review for me please it will earn me brownie points :eek::eek:

You have got to be kidding me ? Ok I will leave you a review no problem then I put (Evil grin on my face) :rotfl:and ended chat !:D

I honestly cant believe these poeple wasting so much of my time /life so I dont care if it gets sent back I am not waiting for those idiots for one more minute of my life.Rant over ;)

It's a nightmare isn't it Mavvy? I remember a glorious time when ASOS used to give you a tracking number and it would show you a map of where the driver was in your town and say "He's onto delivery 10 and you're delivery 24" so you knew you had time to jump in the shower :D I'm loving the click and collect that a lot of places are starting to do now, so much more convenient, especially if you work full time.

MMF sorry to make you cry, didn't mean to.

Mavvy have you had a tetanus jab recently? Do please be very careful, cat bites are horrendous for germs. My darling dad twice had to go to the doctors for cat bites, many years apart, when bitten breaking up cat fights. The doctor said the second time when he went in with his arm blown up, 'the last time you were here was for a cat bite' he said 'same cat, different hand.'

His work colleagues couldn't get over it............ 'you were bitten by your own cat......' I think in the stress of a fight Maxi hadn't got a clue who was friend or enemy.

Mav I had an order from Tesco Direct via Hermes, which took 8 days to arrive from being collected - it got sent to the wrong region, then went back to Tesco before being sent out again and the driver stating no-one was home when I had watched him park up, open the van, look at the house, close the van, stick a card through the letterbox and then drive off. I was ringing their office before he was out of sight! This was the same driver who thought it acceptable to put a parcel into the wheelie bin and sign for it himself!

    Great article Slinky, thanks!

Out today: A sachet of eye cream
In today: Two more Christmas presents for DS, bought on local FB group. While it's more stuff in the house, I'm thinking of it as helping someone else Kondo! And also it's MSE as I saved £22 on the RRP of the things, and he will love them. I think I have about 6 things put away now, probably won't need a huge amount more, and then need to start thinking about his birthday in January :/

I'm waiting for a delivery today too. :D It's Yodel, but they seem to be a lot better than they used to be. It's all stuff that I need like a winter blanket for the sofa (as it was in the sale) or things that will be used up like the scented candles. :)
