Invoke the data protection act. Go to the company you ordered from and tell them that their sub contractor is breaking the law as it holds info about you which is inaccurate. You should also state that as your details were provided to the original co, they are the data owners who have to rectify this or face an ico complaint.Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Morning all
Sorry haven't been about for a while I've spent the last few days trawling through the 42,000+ unread emails on my iPad and deleting nearly three years worth of them. Major kondoing of the virtual sort.
Mavvy was it you I agreed to buy raffle tickets off? I'm in your neck of the woods this weekend and just wondered where they are on sale. I'll bring the hedgehogs up in August when I come with the family. It would be nice to meet up with you and Kaz again if you are both about.
Glad the kitties are doing well, sorry to hear about the bite.
Hope everyone is as well as they can be, the kondoing seems to be going really well for everyone.SPC~12 ot 124

I'm still kondo-ing information held on paper onto my computerand weeds and grass from the garden ... one day this will all be finished, especially as there's going to be an almighty kondo event when the Man That Can tears down the shed and cuts down the cherry laurels

My plan for tonight is to tidy up the loft room as DH is out after work and snores like a bear when he's had a drink so this way I can make him sleep in the spare room
It needs doing anyway as DS keeps wandering up there and his Christmas presents are not very successfully hidden at the moment
Almost used up a shampoo, conditioner, face cream and face scrub so have got more out from the never-ending stash of toiletries and will recycle the old bottles on the last use tomorrow.

Thank you very much for contacting us and we very much appreciate your feedback. The reason that the cooking instructions are on the reverse is I'm afraid industry standard. However I have passed your comments to our new product development team who will take them into account on any further development of this product.
We do hope you remain a very much valued customer of the Baxters Food Group.
Industry standard, eh?
Note to self: Use phone to take pic of underside before popping pie in oven.:rotfl:
How about replying back to them and suggesting they print the instructions on both the front and the back, still complies with their 'industry standards' but could actually be useful.
This reminds me of a ready meal I bought (YS) from Tesco a couple of weeks ago. It said on the packaging, on the back, in very small writing so I had to find glasses, that it was 'ovenable'. Is ovenable even a word?Make £2025 in 2025

I've just had to google 'ovenable' to check yes it is, it means food or containers that are suitable to put in an oven. I think as a word it's been about since 2013 one of those if enough people say it it becomes a word (a bit like twerking):rotfl:

I'm now Kondoing our CD cupboard at work - have been given permission to dump everything on a spare desk to see if anyone wants them, so I have claimed anything with a barcode (we usually just have promotional CDs without them) and am now surreptitiously listing them on MusicMagpie! My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

That's a really good idea, thank you.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

I'd also ask them 'what standard?'. Just because other people do it doesn't make it a 'standard'. It makes it a custom. They should be looking at best practice. Of course, if they can quote a BS/ISO or similar standard that says labelling should be on the bottom of any container used to cook in, you can then start harrasing all the companies that don't do this... :cool:0 -
Yay, I've just caught up on putting 5 months worth of expenses through my business. It's a bitty job and I loathe doing it, but it's just taken me one afternoon instead of a day and a half. Can't help think I've missed something....
It's one of those things where I keep meaning to keep on top of it, but in some ways is more efficient to do in blocks as I get on a roll. Also I have to log onto various websites to download invoices, so it makes more sense to log in once and download 5 invoices, rather than logging in 5 times to download 1.
Fingers crossed a customer who said he would leave a cheque for me at his premises to collect tonight has done so, and that his staff know where he's left it. I'm not holding my breath.......... although there's a glass of wine left in a bottle in the fridge that I will celebrate with if I get the cheque. Only been waiting since April......Make £2025 in 2025
