Mumps those splash backs look lovely

Scotinlondon ive sold a few books on ziffit but didn't really get much, advantage is when you put the barcode details in they give you the offer price straight away. Not sure how amaz0n or gum!ree work for selling. Hope you get what you want for them.

Have just finished off a few knitted bits so they can go off the table and into the relevant bags ready for when they leave.

Also does anyone need me to prove that I won employee of the month in a job I am no longer at 13yrs ago? I have the certificate to prove it. Anyone?... Speak now or forever hold thy peace. Ok you had your chance it's in the bin now why why why?
    Have a good day xx

I found a fax that had been sent in by a customer at a job where I was temping saying how helpful I'd been. I'd kept it as a sort of 'reference' when I was job hunting. I've worked in my own business for the past 11 years, I don't think that would help me much anyway as it was about 19 years ago! It hit the shredder a couple of weeks back.

Off to hit the shredder to top up some spare space in the recycling for tomorrow.

Shanks and Slinky that's Woo
I showed a soon to be ex colleague a press cutting about something I had success with in my job about 15 years ago. She asked me if I was going to keep it and was quite horrified when I said No! I binned it, and deleted the emails I was sent by an external team I worked with a fairly big project TEN years ago ! I had kept them as a little pick-me-up when things were bleak (change in senior management style brought its share of problems) but, hey, I won't need them by the end of this week :D:D:D
I spent a happy couple of hours this morning, on my day off, folding and organising my friends t-shirts, jumpers and towels. I had a lovely time and she is delighted with the results.

I have to do one last push in the room of doom at my house - 80% done :j -, but that will have to wait until after my 'retirement' party, a weekend away, a visit to distant parents, another 'retirement' party...... blimey, it's exhausting just thinking about it :rotfl:

    have a lovely evening All,

    M
PS - retirement for me means dropping from 5 day week as an employee to 3 days of self employment (hopefully!).
I have changed my work-life balance to a life-work balance.

Mumps - thanks for the link - will be showing OH tonight, as i think that it will be good in our kitchen. Am getting ideas ready whilst saving up for our kitchen.

We have John*tones ivory all over our house. Painted it about 5 years ago - needs doing again. When we moved in, over 14 years ago - we have green carpets (which only were replaced recently) and blue and pink walls in the bedroom and a blue kitchen.

Everything got repainted bit by bit.

So - underwear, socks & tights all KD. sorted and sushi rolled with using mushroom tubs too. Unfortunately, not enough room in the drawers for my vest tops, so a bit more re-arranging will be done.

Make-up will be done this weekend. Am another one here, that doesn't wear make-up. I have a little bit when we go to weddings or other high functions like that, but as am I not good at putting it on myself, i wear very little on those days.

I have a question is the lovely people on here are able to help me...I have a lot of study books that I want to get rid of - I have used them in my current study but won't be dipping into them at all for the remainder of the courses. Which is the better platform to sell them on - G/Tree or Ama*on? Is it easy to sell books on a one of basis on Ama*on? All help will be appreciated.

Have a good rest of the day all.

    SIL

Glad you like it, if you do decide to go ahead with it I can find out who my daughter got hers from, I know she had problems with one supplier and switched to another one which was cheaper and better service.

I am actually quite jealous as I had my kitchen done about six months before she had her done and I wish I had known about it. Being able to fit it easily is a money saver as I can't tile and this is easy to do yourself.

New to this thread but not to the idea of KMism. I have almost completed my first room. Yes, I'm going to do it by rooms, as the thought of the actual KM method gives me panic attacks! I can handle it one room at a time, so that's my abridged method. I have four more drawers to go and i will have the master bedroom done.
Overprepare, then go with the flow.

    :) Morning all.

Woke up to a freegler request for something, so have put that in an outdoor hidey-hole to be picked up hopefully later this morning (I'll be at work). More Stuff going, hurrah!

Otherwise, minor gains, such as a fancypants drawing pencil given to someone at work who sketches with this kind and was chuffed. I don't even know how this came into my possession unless I have been lugging it around since art school daze in the 1980s.

Have made a decision about the wombled ali baba wicker basket I got a few months ago. Is presently choca full of WIP yarn but have decided once that is reduced enough to go into something like a shopping bag, the basket can go to the chazzer. It's lovely but not the right size and shape for this room. It'll be joyful to someone else.
Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

    Morning all
    Hope everyone is well.

Sound like a very productive and joy filled day of kondoing you'll be having Mavvy.

Put a dress on this morning and decided it's quite similar to the one I've just made (but much tighter!) I don't need two so the chasser can have it. Had to smile it's a Richard shops label-The ad used to run through my head every time I put it on, "Richard shops are filled with all the pretty things, soft and lovely pretty things to wear" I don't think Richard shops even exist any more so ad was probably 80s. I didn't even buy the dress from them it was a carboot buy. It is lovely so I'm sure it will bring someone else joy.

Busy this morning as I have a review to attend.

    Have a joyful day all.
