Just popped in to say happy new year to you all xx
I've got an upset hubby again thanks to his parents actions and my mums auntie has died today during her wedding which was last minute due to her illness. Makes you think that if something is important you shouldn't wait xxHave a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0 -
Just popping in to wish everyone a Happy New Year, as I am unlikely to make it to midnight.
And I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support this year. I somehow doubt I would've managed without it.
My resolution for 2016? To do everything within my power to ensure I am still posting on NYE next year....:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Feel a bit ugh at the moment and the thought of not getting my house clean and tidy for the New Year makes me feel even more ugh!
DD1 seems happy enough just to sit in her pjs watching you-tube and DH is sat near her playing stupid games on his ipad. I'm just so frustrated but the reality is that I do everything in this house because it is just easier that way.
Think I've got a head cold coming on though - popped some paracetemol but its not helped my head at all. I keep getting up, doing some tidying and then sitting down. Its been a slow progress kind of day but I've got all the decorations down. I just need to sort the Xmas cards and polish where they have been ready to get DD1's birthday cards up in a couple of days. I've hovered around so that makes the room look a bit better but its all those piles of stuff lurking randomly around the room that get to me and knowing that if I walk into another room I'll see just how many other jobs needs doing.0 -
Can't do any cleaning if I wanted to - plumbing bits for the new bathroom all over the kitchen table, stuff from the understairs cupboard all over the sofa/in the lounge, gibble everywhere and I wouldn't say there's any clear surfaces *sigh*. Did have a lovely walk with the kids and dogs though even though Whiz has managed to cut his leg again.
J gone out to get some more stuff for the bathroom. I've gone through some boxes, paired up gloves, got the kids to try on winter hats etc and the ones that don't fit going to CS/recycling depending on what they're like. Also got rid of a carrier bag full of rubbish so guess it's good.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Hugs to mummyroys
Brought washing in - about half-an-hour before it absolutely flung it down.
Socks on a radiator to 'finish off'; ironing that was already waiting has been done so, if it airs (and it needs to) I can get today's washing ironed.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
MMM, what is it with Ex's being a PITA.
Hugs Mummyroys.
I have cleared all the clean clothes and the bedding is folded, just needs putting away.
I've fed the cats, cooked a meal eaten it and cleared up after it, so now it's crochet time, woohoo.

Just popping in to wish everyone a Happy New Year, we are having a quiet night in and I may not be around at midnight.
Hugs to those who need one and cheers to those celebrating tonight.
My aim for next year is to fly more often and post on the thread at least once a week when working.0
