    Morning all

Well I have quite a busy day today doing nothing! I have to take my DD to my cousin's to have her nails done this morning so that will be a couple of hours gone. Then DS is going bowling with his mates this afternoon so will want ferrying to and fro and I have just arranged to meet my mate at 4 for a catch up so I can't see me having a lot of free time today although I won't be doing anything useful with my time iyswim.

I'm going to get up in a min and make a start on the ironing I think.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

    Morning folks x

Sorry to hear that some are chasing BDs. There is one trying to get in here. X

I have an alternating streaming/blocked up nose and feel yucky.

    Befriender cancelled yesterday.

We need to go to Mr Ts to get a few things for meals but don't have any NYE plans yet.

Ds1 has signed a tenancy agreement for next year. I'm hoping that all is well as there were some bad reviews of the agency online. I'm hoping that he passes this year or we will be facing a £4K bill that we can't afford. I have had a conversation about overspending with him which I have been worrying about since before Christmas.

Off to feed ds2 and see what needs doing.

Hugs, cuppas, sticks & spoons available. Help yourselves x

Morning all. I've been up a while and have done the dailies and the ironing challenge (only 6 items for me, well for DH actually - so HB we had words too!).

About to walk the dogs and then if there's time before the paid stuff I'll take a look at today's list and do something from it.

DH won't be home till 7pm tonight, so we'll be having a buffet and an early night as he's up early for the paid stuff tomorrow. We know how to party.....

Ionafan - sounds like you may need to start saying 'no' and get rid of that trivia out of your diary.

    Have a great day everyone.

  • Morning all, Not had time to post since Tuesday and there are pages and pages to read!!! hugs to everyone, and have a happy new year!

Tuesday achieved nothing,as working and then at a family party. Yesterday I did Tuesdays list. Today I'm at paid stuff again, then friends and their children around at six for new year. So I've got click and collect food to get on way home from work at three, then will have approx two and a half hours to get whole house ship shape and cook a meal for eight. Arggggh.

    Well, I won't learn.

Looks like I won't have time to finish the ironing challenge, but I have done half of it which was Loads!

Have a good day all x
  • Morning:)

    Done so far this morning:

Put all rubbish & recycling out for bin men
Cut DS3 hair which was wildly out of control:D
    Put away DS2 birthday cards
Removed anything not belonging in LR
    1 x WM

    Still to do:

    Go through paperwork tray
    Hoover LR
    SS Toilet
    SS Kitchen
    HHI
    Waiting for Amazon delivery
    Laundry away

    Better get cracking then;)

We have updated and coordinated diaries. Perhaps that was what depressed me the most... trying to find dates when I can visit friends or we can invite people to meals or have the grandchildren here... The weeks seem to be full of trivia, with no room left for the important things in life. Something will have to give in 2016.

Although I didn't reply last night it occurred to me that maybe blocking out a regular day-a-week where you assign 'family/personal time' might work - eg Fridays are day you NEVER commit to anything outside? it shouldn't need any explanation, simply that 'we can't do Fridays'...

3 loads of washing on the line. Out on an errand shortly.

    Mornin all :)

Chilly sunshine here - I was up and out at Mr A early, and got what I needed for NYD breakfast - my contribution to the party ;) plus collected DD prescription on way home.

Have slung in the last wash of the year but it's just pjs so no ironing needed here :T

Just had scrambled egg and mushrooms, yum. I'm starting back in the SW plan - even if I can't get to the meetings, I know how to do it! Got 3 months till holidays (hurrah) and want to fit in my summer clothes - which I'm sure I won't at the moment...

I actually did my living room yesterday so will tackle bathrooms and also change DS bed. Then I'm going to have a nap, shower, and off to friends at tea time!

I'll be posting tomorrow's list early since I'm going out - it's only a short one, and is (as they all are ;)) optional :D
