  • My HHC turned into 45mins. And that was pretty much just one curry - I've *whispers in shame* 'Run out of tinned tomatoes':o

I was about to talk myself out of an un-necessary trip into town (Mr. T delivery tonight and I didn't think I needed anything - it would just have been a browse) But I need the tomatoes and Garam Masala to complete the 2nd curry, and it can't wait until I get back tonight as it takes 2 hrs to cook and I'll be very late and out first thing tomorrow.

Oh well. Hope it drys up before the bus. Going to have 10mins, an then do another 1/2 hr with a hoover before getting ready to go.

Last load of washing in the WM, all downstairs is hoovered and isn't looking too bad for a change. I'm going to finish pairing some socks out and then do a HHI.

Anyone like to join me for a HH anything at 2.30?

All the bitty ornament things are packed away, the tree is down and the decorations from that are packed away, 4th wash load in, 3rd lot in the TD with non-TD stuff hung upstairs on hangers to reducing ironing. I've just finished my lunch, so now it's onto taking tinsel & garlands down, followed by cards. DD needs to wash up so Christmas bits from there can be packed away as well. We definitely need to vacuum as the tree has shed loads of bits again. At this rate we'll have to replace it, but I'm holding out for as long as possible as it wasn't cheap & to do a like for like replacement would be very difficult as not many trees now have individual branches.

The pain in my wrist/hand is worse today but I've taken the support off as I'm wondering if the bandage has been adding to it due to the way it was cut to allow my thumb through as most of the pain is in that area. I'll see how it goes for an hour or so, if the pain doesn't ease I'll use a traditional bandage on it instead to see if it feels better that way.

Julie - I'll join you for a HHC

    Birthday wishes to flykids!

I'm thinking of having a nap... I've cleared the floordrobe, kids have gone and I've dusted and vacced all upstairs. My bed is made and the old linen is washed and now airing.

I want to take the decs down but I'm shattered. So I might have an hour on the sofa and then tackle it all...

Washing juggled, DD went up the stepladders and got the tinsel (we put it around the room along the picture rail so about 18m of the stuff) and all 8 triple pinned garlands down as when I tried to it was causing too much pain in my wrist to lean/hold on to stuff. Rubbish is out, dog is sulking on his bed and I'm going to sit with a coffee while I delete the duplicate recordings on the dvr :o We just need to take the cards down, make a list of who we got them off (so I don't forget people next year) and put everything away which requires the linens being completely dry. We're getting there slowly.

Finally almost caught up with list - just the ironing to do:) Had a lovely half hour sitting down with my Bullet Journal, writing in the next month and future events.

House looks very tidy at the moment. Just put another load in the WM, now I am caught up with that too!

Might do my HHI, and find something to watch/listen to on iplayer (don't have a tv) then will make a start on dinner. Pasta & Pesto tonight to use up some bacon and cream lurking in the fridge.

Weather is still pretty disgusting out there - glad I don't have anywhere I have to be!!:D

Thanks Narco; I'm just hacked off with having to clear up after other people tbh. I suspect I'm not the only Flylady who might feel that occasionally! Words have been had.

WM going on again, I'm sure we don't usually make this much laundry?!?!

DD went to Drs again and has been signed off sick for 2 weeks (she has fibromyalgia :( ) Not sure how much longer she'll be able to work but the benefits system is a nightmare :( Trying to support he as best I can without cracking up myself!

Have decluttered the cupboard under the sink and thrown away some out of date meds that were lurking there. Gaviscon looks foul when it's out of date yuck!! Also about to go shopping and will then put away the decorations and turf the tree out once more!!
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last
