My "right way round" is paper hanging down the non-wall side.
But it's none of my business to make alterations in other peoples houses and I don't take kindly either to someone thinking THEY have the right to decide how I have things in MY house. The clue is in the word "my"...:)0 -

The computer thing: I imagine son and GF probably thought they were being helpful, but agree with others who say if you're not using the laptop, log out and leave a generic user account open.I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

This thread is making my blood pressure rise. I couldn't stand people fiddling with things in my house and I wouldn't dream of it in other peoples. So many reasons why we don't have people round very often!0
