I need to check out Superdrug's website as I'm in desperate need of a makeover and I might be able to get some good deals
Got a half-price onesie *hides head in shame* as I'm fed up of having my dressing gown blown over my head in the morning on the return journey from the caravan with my early morning cuppa. £6 saved...
Got 7 eggs from 5 chickens today?!? Either some this morning were from late layers yesterday or a couple of the poor girls are on overtime... 70p
Got given some money-off vouchers for Peacocks. Need to spend £30 on non-sale items to get £5 off...hmmm...I'll update if I use them.
Keep up the great wombles!0 -
No wombles to report, taking 4 kids to Tesc0 does not make for a fun and happy shopping trip. £32 all in. Will go bargain hunting over the weekend and make back the money they spent on Pringles and Kettle Chips.
If I hadn't run out of soya milk and couldn't even have a cuppa, I would have sacked it off until after suppertime.
Still, house full of happy kids, schools go back on Monday, really cheap half term they have been happy with a few trips to adventure playgrounds and football in the back garden and playing FIFA with their brothers/dad on the xbox. They just didn't want to go out anywhere, so we grabbed the sunshine while we could, even if it was freezing!!!!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

I'm almost embarrassed to admit to this womble....
I've had an email from the Young Carers, who are involved with the kids. They are giving us £350 on condition that it is spent on something that will benefit the kids. All because I rang and asked if there was any way that they could support the kids whilst we were stressed out and dealing with dh being ill.
I won't count it until I have used the cheque, but am planning a short break during May half term with it.
Hope you feel better soon SiebrieNot giving up

Crazy Cat Lady do not feel embarrassed about the £350 cheque from Young Carers. Enjoy the break away with your children in the next half term.
Sebrie I hope you are feeling better very soon.0 -
Crazy Cat Lady - it sounds like your family deserve a break - enjoy! Don't feel embarrassed at all!
First womble of the day is a payment from Shopitize of £9.05, which hit my account yesterday. Got a nice total building on Checkout Smart too...
I'll be egg-hunting later, so might update again. Someone suggested an honesty box with a little stall to sell the excess eggs (sorry, can't remember who...I think it may have been you Bob) but where we are might be a bit dangerous for people to suddenly stop to buy. I don't want to be the cause of a nasty accident0
