Fab yellow sticker raid last night
2 x gooseberry pies 24p each (one with custard one in the freezer for 'ron')
2 x 5 pack custard doughnuts 15p each (one in each lunchbox so one pack left for after scouts snack before bed tonight)
2 wholemeal crusty loaves off the bakery counter 20p each (in the freezer for sandwiches/toast )
3pack of huge onions, 10p (so I bought 6 - every meal starts with chop one onion doesn't it?)
3 pack of peppers 20p (they are now tomato and pepper soup for tea tonight, any left overs will be a pasta sauce for tomorrow).
Making pasties for lunchboxes tomorrow, made two cakes with leftover odds and sods from the cupboards, chased up the surveyors (report to be emailed within 48 hrs) hoping not to have to spend much money this week. Man plans, the gods laugh.

Have been off on holiday and then spent five days sat at home relaxing... or being lazy! (only left the house once!) so nothing productive done or money made or saved. Back to work tonight so getting back in the wombling mindset
Before this departure from saving I have sold £62.70 worth of bits on g-tree and donated / binned an actual skip load and 40+ bin bags of items thanks to Mari Kondo! I realise to a womble I could have made more but after years of hoarding I was suffocated.
I have a small quantity of bits to sell that I held onto, for example some collectable coins and silver - anyone know if I'm best trying my luck on ebay with these or taking to a shop to sell?
My total for money wombled in January was £236.71 - £45 selling, £93.72 reducing phone contract to £5pm, a free samsonite suitcase, wombled food rounded to £30 at a low estimate and £30 of clothes I bought and returned to curb my spending!
February is only on £27.70 - £17.70 with selling stuff, £10 of items given to me to be regifted. I have some serious catching up to do!
On another wombling front, I am still eating my way through the jam and chutney I made from grown or foraged food this year, and still have loads of blackberries and nettles in the freezer for my smoothies! I've also planned out my allotment and will be using that as wombling totals monthly as I see profit.0 -
Evening wombles
Not been wombling much as DH decided to have kidney stones early Monday morning, requiring an ambulance and morphine  Honestly - he's such a drama queen (joking!)
Managed to womble a sandwich from the nurses in A&E, as they felt sorry for me rushing around with Tiny and Small in tow, so will claim 50p plus 70p for the seven eggs (from 5 hens?) for Monday.
Just a penny roadkill for today (oh, and an empty drip bag to use as a footbandage cover from the vets - no value as such, but priceless for avoiding getting the dog's foot wet, developing an infection and then requiring extensive and expensive treatment) and only 2 eggs (20p). Poor girls must be worn out
So, updating my total with £1.43 for the last two days. Pleased with that given the circumstances0 -
