Not sure how much I could save - could never top Bob's hoover! - but it'd be really interesting to find out...

Before this departure from saving I have sold £62.70 worth of bits on g-tree and donated / binned an actual skip load and 40+ bin bags of items thanks to Mari Kondo! I realise to a womble I could have made more but after years of hoarding I was suffocated.
I have a small quantity of bits to sell that I held onto, for example some collectable coins and silver - anyone know if I'm best trying my luck on ebay with these or taking to a shop to sell?
My total for money wombled in January was £236.71 - £45 selling, £93.72 reducing phone contract to £5pm, a free samsonite suitcase, wombled food rounded to £30 at a low estimate and £30 of clothes I bought and returned to curb my spending!
February is only on £27.70 - £17.70 with selling stuff, £10 of items given to me to be regifted. I have some serious catching up to do!
On another wombling front, I am still eating my way through the jam and chutney I made from grown or foraged food this year, and still have loads of blackberries and nettles in the freezer for my smoothies! I've also planned out my allotment and will be using that as wombling totals monthly as I see profit.
Well done you! Great scores by the way. By the way I don't seem to have you on the contenders list. Sorry if you had signed up?" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

I've been walking the streets, eyes down, looking for roadkill. Nothing!:o
I'm wondering around the isles in grocery stores, with nothing in my basket on the look out for discarded receipts, but nothing...not even snif!:(
I can't even find my mojo...!

True Bob. Hope you are feeling well after your op? How's you little munchkin?
You have to be so careful when the excitement of road kill hits you! If you're like me, all I see is the treasure!:rotfl:
When I found the fiver last week, I bent down and was nearly ran over by a wayward shopping trolley!:eek:Living a frugal retirement without treading on the planet :T

Yay! Thought I hadn't been accepted! I know what you mean about getting what you need when you need it. My biggest wombles in that direction have been cars. Twice! (I have some wonderful friends.) But since neither was wombled this week...
Yesterday at Sainsbees:
Mango YS 45p reduced from £1.25
Money off offers total £4
Price comparison £1.18 cheaper (Never saw the point of the bits of paper telling me it was cheaper before, because they didn't seem to be worth money! I'll know better in future)
22p Carpet Kill from the living room floor.
Can I count a stash of 2p & 1p coins I found squirrelled away and forgotten? £2.09 in total.
Today
Wombled 2 M&S butterfly buns (1 for me, 1 for DD). No idea of the price - left over from a pack of 4.
So that's either £6.20 or £8.29, depending on whether the hoard counts or not. Plus the cost of the buns.
Not done this before. What do experienced wombles think?
It's a lot more than I thought anyway. Wow! Will count the nectar points when I spend them. (30 plus the extra ones I get for paying using a Mr S credit card - paid in full, so MSE?) :A:rotfl:A budget is like a speed sign - a LIMIT not a TARGET!!
