Mr S is still away, and will be for 2.5 more weeks. I am wombling lots, as my parents insist on paying for everything, but won't count it here. My parents are helping out for a fortnight at our place, then for half term we will all move to their place, then the week after the girls and I will have to manage on our own. I have a lot of admiration for single parents....

And so do I big time. Glad you are still managing ok and Mr S wont be gone too much longer (bet it feels like an age though)

Today I wombled a fishing lure from a tree while I was kayaking at work. It's going in my fishing box to be homed with the 10 or so others I've hooked out of trees this year! :p

Yeah, but Customer Services Hector laughed when I did an 'excited jig' about my £5 voucher.

Now have a dancing Leprechaun doing a jig in mind :rotfl:

No!! Never correct the person on the till in Tesco. Always pay, and then take it and the receipt to customer services, and remind them 'if for some reason it doesn't add up, we will refund double the difference', it is usually printed on the wall behind the c/s desk - I got £14 back on one sack of rice.

I didn't know this. So interesting.:)

It's amazing what I find along the canal, fenders for boats (which is handy as I live on one) fishing gear, clothes, the other day I found a pair of north face gloves, looked brand new, googled them and they're a £30 pair of gloves, no owner in sight so I gained a nice pair of gloves :p

I've also found roadkill, nice looking rocks and drift wood and tennis balls... Loads and loads of tennis balls

Wombled 42 clubcard points on receipts

They used to give you the item free and double the difference in cash, it was well worth checking your receipts.
