We used a £100 gift card received at Christmas from a generous elderly aunt to part-pay for some new telephones after ours finally gave up and died. Being thrown into the dog water bowl may have hastened their demise...not sure...

I was treated to lunch by DH's uncle on Wednesday, as I popped up to give his aunt her birthday card. £8.95 for a yummy carvery (more than enough for me and Tiny to share!).

Given up/forgotten to record egg tally but I know we have had several dozen since I last posted, so I'll claim £2. I am very proud to announce my first regular order (paid for with actual real money) for my hens' eggs. I asked for £1/half-dozen and she nearly took my hand off! £2 from Friday. I have also steam extracted 6 litres of damson and apple juice today, which is delicious, so at 65p a litre for basic apple juice in the shops, this is worth £3.90 to me. About the same amount I have apparently underpaid for Small's school dinners, so that's good!

I've been lucky with money off coupons for SMs and price matching, but TBH I've forgotten the total, so can't claim :eek:

Today I wombled a free dentist's appointment that would have been £20 without maternity exemption. I have to go back for an existing white filling (I only have 1 filling) to be turned into an inlay based on my x-rays today. He said that will also be free.

Went for a lovely lunch with my daughter at a local Portuguese restaurant with my Groupon voucher and my daughter gave me the £5 to tip the waiter.
