Still been plodding along with my Wombling.

Think I will just start counting my cash out's rather than risk double counting though.

I reached my first £5 with Qmee between clicks and surveys. I also transferred 46p to my paypal account so I could have it on my amazon. £5.46 Total.

There's a pair of boots I have my eye on for £25. I'm determined to raise the money for them with only wombled/survey money. I'm a fifth of the way there already :) I'm also darn close to a few other cash outs so hopefully I'll have new boots before I can blink.

    Other Wombles:

    30p APG.

    1p & 5p Roadkill.

£2.47 Savings as I did a shop at Aldi instead of Asda, then worked out what it would have cost me, because I'm that kind of person ;). It nearly cost me more as they had some nice brushed cotton duvet sets however luckily I couldn't carry them so put it back! Maybe after payday when my budget isn't on it's last legs.

That brings the October total to £172.91 :T

This weekend I cashed out a free coffee worth £2.50, using my points. Also got 2 loaves today at 40p each for Kingsmill reduced from £1 each.

    Think that's £3.80 in savings.

If anyone has a smart phone there's an app I use called OLIO which is a 'food sharing' app with aims to prevent food waste. You upload a picture and description of a food item you have in your cupboard which you either don't want anymore or aren't going to use before it goes out of date, and people in your local area will see these posts and may request the item from you. Generally the items are listed as being free for collection, but if you have something which is worth something and is unopened then you can put a little price tag on it.

One word of caution is a lot of people will add items that have been opened or are past their use by date. It's generally advised not to go for these items but that's a matter of personal choice at the end of the day.

Anyway I uploaded a lot of items today and I was contacted by a user of the app who wanted some of my items and informed me that they had lots of items listed. So later today I am exchanging two small packets of tea I didn't want and a jar of sweet and sour sauce for 7 bags of skittles, a takeaway pot of oat so simple and a mini packet of cornflakes which I will keep in my desk at work.

I won't claim a value for these as we are both getting some stuff out of it, but thought i would mention it to people.
