Loyalty points on wombled receipts: 34
Groupon for picture on canvas: €32 discount.

I did wonder where you'd been Siebre. Happy hols.

Amazingly a £5 Coupon for The Orchard for whole chickens! I am really broke at the minute so this is delightful. Had just put a whole chickens on the shopping list as its so much cheaper than buying bits and will do us several meals.

So pleased. Managed to get 2 x large chickens for only £1 by spending my £5 Mr T coupon. Amazing as that will go a very long way meal wise. Have some thai curry paste left in the fridge that I will do a chicken curry with. Also fajitas. Roast chicken dinner with the 15p basics stuffing balls. Yum. Plenty for quesidillas, sandwiches and salads too. I feel at this point I should burst into food glorious food ;)
Had them add on 3 x Mr T reciepts as well. They were mine but OH had my card in his wallet all week.

Also got a bag of YS carrots and a YS lettuce with 20p off.

Oh and wombled a bean (maccers variety)

    And found 1p.

Hi Bob it may simply be that some people are aware that taking money from the floor of a store is considered theft by a retailer. Having worked for major retailers in the past this is one place where I too leave money on the floor when I spot it as I would not like to be accused of theft for a nominal sum of money.

I had a free ticket to see 'That's Entertainment' at the New Wimbledon Theatre' which saved me £32.50. I had a very enjoyable evening.

Interesting. How can it be theft though?

If you are not retrieving your own money from a shop floor that you had dropped, then the money does not belong to you, it belongs to the shop owner or retailer as it is on their premises, if the person that does drop it, is not claiming it. No different to the fact that f you see a wallet or a purse on a shop floor it doe not entitle you to keep it and it does not belong to you unless you are the rightful owner of said purse or wallet.
