Evening wombles!
We went to a countryside show today with the two boys, enjoyed scorching sunshine and mint-choc-chip ice-creams. Small wombled a bag of goodies containing a blue baseballcap, metal water bottle, two pens and a tube of refreshers! The best I could do was two vouchers for free tea or coffee at a small cafe in a nearby town. I was chuffed with mine until Small trumped me :rotfl:
However, I think the total haul is worth at least a fiver, so very pleased

Oh yes, Small's got eagle-eyes for roadkill. Just need to train up Tiny and we will be a formidable team
£6.82 price match, promotional prices and vouchers used on Asda shop today. 8 eggs = 80p from my hennies and another 10kgs of plums from our early tree. At £1.20/kg, that's £12! However, one can only eat so many plums...so I've been stewing and freezing like mad. DH's ex-wife has sent through a request for some (cheeky mare!) via DSS, so I'll freeze some down for her and take them next time we head south. I already give her lots of eggs FOC and apples/damson and pears too when they ripen - what a lovely stepmum (and second wife) I am :rotfl:
Totalling up, I make that £19.62. Well pleased with that!0 -
Dizzy I'd tell her to get her own plums!
5p roadkill today and £4 arrived in Mr T vouchers. Got a YS pizza with £1 off too." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Went to the organisation I worked with last year and still volunteer at (as does OH) for their summer staff and volunteer party. They had a big spread on and lots of free booze so will be conservative and claim £12 for my chilli and rice meal and 2 beers.
Also got a small £2 MrT voucher.Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

I have only been with Wayne a few month's and we are still at the dating stage, so it will take a while for him to start thinking about his spending habits. He is a bricklayer so he earns more in a day than I do in a week as a part time cleaner. I find him quite careless in his spending and so I keep trying to educate him about being more savvy with his money. Time will tell0
