Well things have been a bit brighter today. I've had two jobs through for my business, not massive money, but it helps :)

Also withdrew £25 from pureprofile, but I won't add that to my total until it hits my bank account.

Received £1.68 from Qmee today and £5.06 from Neobux and OH actually gave me the receipt from his shopping trip, so another penny on COS.

Best wombling day for quite a while :)

Oooh edit: Just received £3 amazon voucher from swagbucks too :)

    That is brilliant newa Autumn!!:T

Hi Bob, the packaging was damaged on the bottom and so was one of the toilet rolls. It was my online shopping delivery. I took a few hours after the delivery to make the complaint, as my first instinct was not to bother.

NOA great to see you had a positive day so soon :)

    Morning all :hello:

Some excellent wombles being reported but sorry to hear some of us are struggling:(

Here's hoping for a lucky few days!

My harvest has started with a first pick of our Victoria plums (yes, rather early, but I'm not complaining) weighing in at six kilos!! I've seen plums (small round purple ones - not sure of the variety) selling at around £1.20/kilo, so I'll claim £7.20 for my haul...More to pick over the next few days and I was pleased to see a heavy crop on another plum tree, two apple trees and our walnut too :D

I need to update my signature total.

  • Hi All

Long time lurker here but would like to join in please.

The gardener at work gave me 2 kilo's of rhubarb this morning that would have gone to waste otherwise, so I'm freezing, jamming and chutneying tonight.

Just looked and it is between £3.30 and £3.75 in supermarkets so my first womble is £7 :j

This past week I've been wombling pallets :D a lot of them.

I need a floor for my boat, the owner before me put down marine ply as a base and then laid carpet down which came straight up once I bought it because it was ugly. I had this vision that I wanted hardwood flooring stained to give a dark wood look, however for the amount of floor boards I would need just for the living room would cost me £200 just in floor boards alone.

After being at the office the other day I noticed there were loads of new, clean pallets in a skip, i asked If i could take them and brought the van back later and took them all home, i've started splitting them which is very easy as their new and in good condition, the plan is to sand them down, lay them on the floor of the boat, screw them into the marine ply then stain them!!

If all goes to plan I will be saving myself a lot of money!

Any other wood spare will go on projects which I will sell on, hopefully the floor may even make me some money ;)
