Well... Check in time was 2pm. Me and the kids arrived at 3.30 and our room wasn't ready, so I was already unhappy about that. Then later on we wanted to sit and watch a film together in our room on the Pay TV but that wasn't working either. So I went to complain, and whinged that I should have stayed in the Travelodge across the road for half the price and the same service. The manager just apologised and asked if dinner for the 3 of us would make up for it at all...
Wombled a book at my mam's house today. She's moving and getting rid of lots of stuff. This one is 'Little Christmas decorations to knit and crochet'. I love it, and it has a sticker for £9.99 on it.Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt

Best day on COS for quite some time - £1.01. I bought some Dream Rice Milk on offer for £1 in Mr T, found out COS had £1 cashback when I got home - so it was free!:T
Just reached £1.05 on Qmee, so that's another cashout there too.
Also received a voucher from Alpro today for a free dessert thing, which I'll look out for next time. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Evening peeps
MIL gave me some runner beans from her garden today, 2lb in weight so I reckon worth about £4
Went to see DD who gave me a lovely veggie recipe book that she bought on a whim but doesn't use as non of the recipes appeal. I've seen at least 5 recipes that I want to try straight away! It's £7.45 on am@zon so thats what I'm claiming.
So womble #52 total £18.45
Not bad for two days, it surely can't last :rotfl:0 -
